It gives you that warm, confident fuzzy feeling that small business owners used to get from paying off the mob not to burn down their store.  Back then it was know as racketeering, but now it's called "WGT".

Enough is enough, wgt.  I've been wondering why even GOOD balls are giving me meter problems the last few weeks, and I just noticed this fabulous product.  That explains it.  You people are thieves.

I will no longer be buying balls, or even playing this game.  After three years of watching your thievery I've finally had enough.

Ditto...why should you have to pay for a smooth meter when it should be that way to start with and used to be. Pathetic bunch you are wgt.

    PHTTT...erm  ( how should I word this ? )

"Grow up and get some fookin perspective"  OR....

                                                  --------------------------------

    to OP,

Can count on one hand the amount of meter problems I encounter every Year..

Never tried 'FOCUS' ( usually am if playing ) BUT...

Even if you've been here 3 yrs, it means nothing...

To get good at this game the 1st point of call is getting the meter sorted..

browser / flash combination is paramount !!

You can't just rock up as a recreational player and expect everything to work perfectly ?

It takes time and effort to begin with..then easy street once you know what works best with your own computer configuration / settings.

    Andy

^^ yeah, the 2nd wording works better..  :-)))

Of course we can, and should since they brag about it being browser based and you can go to any computer and play.  Yeah right, tried to show my bro this game at his house on his computer and the meter was horrible.  He laughed.  I said give me a 10 minutes to make some changes.  He said "I like it the way it is, don't touch a thing!"

My point was, you should expect and be able to play on any computer without doing even 10 minutes of tweaking.  As they advertise.

Yes we should, but most need to clear this and that and find a browser that works.  I think of it as a warm up.

They advertise that you can play the game on any computer / browser..they say fook all about the quality :-))

Those 10 mins it takes you, is born out of experience, took us ALL ages, by trial and error to get to 99.9+ %

WGT is 97% right wherever and on whatever you play...it takes time to get the last 3% seamless.

And, to reiterate.....no-one can expect to rock up to ANY flash based site and expect it to work perfectly !!  ( until )

    alcaucin,

Three years is plenty of time to see what's up, especially if you have a little bit of an idea what you're doing with computers.  I've been in IT and telecommunications for 30 years, which I think probably qualifies me to say something about it.

I have used every browser available, and I have used both Windows (which blows by the way) and Ubuntu (which does a wonderful job).  In fact, one of the reasons I like Ubuntu so much is that I can actually tweak the processes which control stability vis-a-vis the browser, flash, the desktop manager, AND the X server.  I wrote a script which has been handling this on my machine for the last couple of years.  Normally, when I find meter problems, I can make sure that the browser cache is clean, that the flash is fully updated and configured, that my video driver is updated and working properly, and then look at network lag and adjust for any of these things with this script.  This tool has not failed me in two years.  I write pretty decent code ;)

That is, not until the last few weeks has this script failed me.  I've tried every combination of variables that I know, and I know them very very well.  The problem has been around for about exactly as long as this product.

At my age, I know what a sewer rat smells like, and I know what the sewer rat's schills smell like too, and you sure stink buddy.

My advice to you is to respect the opinions of others and make room for the possibility that they may, just MAY know a lot more than you.  This might be one of those cases.

That was 30 years fookin wasted eh ?

I have to admit to knowing little about computers / 'code' though I am impressed with your credentials, however....

Since 'this product has been around', I have had ZERO meter problems..as per

You nearly had me there...discombobulating me with tech talk.

Many, many people know alot more than me I recognize.

    I seriously f*ckin doubt THAT !!

YOU can't even get ya meter to work correctly....
