wgt turning into a real POS game

  Today's bug or glitch.  If I decline a CC invite the game goes into error mode. I must repeatedly sign in. Just have to ignore invites to continue on. I have been a member since the beginning and I can say that although it;'s nice to see new courses, most of the new 'gadgets' are unnecessary and garbage. Doing something worthwhile, like elevation views of the greens. What a piece of *** game this thing has evolved into.

  And those of you that may want to say don't play if you don't like it. Screw you. I do what I want. I pay to play so I will complain as necessary. AND, I really don't give a *** what you think.

  On a more serious note..here is  what else I noticed...when the wind blows right left to right.., the meter speeds up a fraction. This means the swing is late and the ball sails right. Right into a pond or o.b. is what wgt would like. And the opposite is true of left to right swings. Meter hesitates so ball will stay left of target.. About impossible to prove, but I believe to be true nonetheless. If I ever hear that something like this is proven, you sob's better run for the hills.

  Welcome to the club . Now that you are a member , I have both good news and bad news . 

  The bad news first . Yeah the game bites and performance is a joke . Its a shame that they can always add something new to the pro shop to make money but cant fix anything wrong with the game .Most of the glitches and problems with the game are not new but most are a year or more yet to be resolved .

  You have every right and reason to complain about the poor performance and I for one agree with you 100% . Wgt needs to get their heads out of their behinds and fix the issues with the game . We as players should not have to beg and plead wit this company to fix their product 7 days a week 24 hrs. a day .

  You are also correct about the meter manipulation as well . Yes you do get fluctuating meter speeds when playing . Some say its to combat the so called auto dinger and other cheat programs . The only problem with that if true , is that its not working . It only works on the honest players who dont use that garbage to play or win  . So you are not the only one to experience this during your game play .

  Its not your computer , browser , internet connection , or mouse which is what WGT , its cheer leaders or kiss pants crew will suggest .  Its all by design meter spikes included . So yes thats the bad news and you are again 100% correct all the way across the board .

  Now for the good news . You are correct as I have already stated , and no you are not going crazy nor do you need a tin foil hat . I know what you are going through because I get it too . The best we can do is play around it as best we can because WGT doesnt care if either you or I or anyone else plays or not .

  Sorry that the bad news was longer than the good news but you know how that goes .This is WGT a company that truly doesnt care and you will see that every time you play the game .

  All wgt employees should read Lonnie's post 100 times until they realize what needs to be done. No more changes or additions needed until the game is fixed to be more fair toward the honest players. If wgt can't combat the cheaters without affecting the honest then quit messing up the game. You are NOT affecting the cheaters in any way, you are only chasing away the honest.

  We all notice the meter going into hyper drive mode where it would benefit "tgw" (can't write their name or i'll be deleted again!) the most.  

  It is up to us to make adjustments when we know the game is about to screw us.

  Sad but true.

  I'll tell you where it went, twice the vem, all day yesterday & so far every round today. It's so stupid to have a game that defies all laws of physics. Every shot coming up 10 to 20% short is just ball burning BS. I'm talking dinged shots, I know to expect this much deviation on missed dings but it's ignorant to screw every dinged shot like I missed it by a mile.

  Guess I'll expect another hit & hope weekend

  FOR THE PAST 8 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP, MY STATUS ON THE MEMBER LIST SAID "MEMBER". FOR OVER 8 MONTHS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS FIXED, BUT AT LEAST I HAD FULL CONTROL OF THE OWNERS TOOLS NEEDED TO RUN A CLUB.

  SINCE THE LAST SHUT-DOWN FOR "IMPROVEMENTS", PRESENTLY, OUR CLUB HOMEPAGE SAYS THAT THE OWNER IS GOLFVADER7. THIS NOW MEANS NOTHING. I CANNOT INVITE, I CAN ONLY ACCEPT REQUESTS TO JOIN, I CANNOT DECLINE(GUARANTEED ACCEPTANCE), I CANNOT EMAIL MEMBERS, I CANNOT EDIT CLUB MESSAGES, I CANNOT EDIT CLUB LOGO OR BANNER, I CANNOT ADJUST MEMBER STATUS, INCLUDING MY OWN, I CANNOT REMOVE MEMBERS, OUR RECRUIT MESSAGE DOES NOT APPEAR ON THE CC PAGE, I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE CLUB FORUM, I CANNOT SELL EQUIPMENT, I CANNOT EQUIP STAND BAGS OR STAND BAG PLUS PROPERLY, I CANNOT TRANSFER OWNERSHIP TO ANOTHER MEMBER.   THEREFORE, IBIS GC HAS AN OWNER, IN NAME ONLY. THEREFORE IT IS PRETTY MUCH A STAGNANT CLUB. 

  I HAVE GOTTEN ZERO RESPONSES FROM WGT, OTHER THAN THEIR COMPUTER GENERATED FORMAL BS ANSWER AND A THREAT TO STOP "SPAMMING" OR BE SUSPENDED, AND THAT MY OWNERS TOOLS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.

  NOT 1 WORD OF THE ABOVE HAS BEEN EMBELLISHED. AND I HAVE NOT HAD 1 WORD FROM ANYONE AT WGT CONCERNING THESE PROBLEMS. I AM QUITE SURE THEY KNOW FULL WELL THAT THERE ARE MAJOR PROBLEMS, BUT IGNORING THE SITUATION AND NOT ADDRESSING IT IS BOTH UNFORGIVABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE. I CAN ONLY HOPE THAT WGT TECHS GET IT FIGURED OUT BEFORE OUR GRANDCHILDREN APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP.

  THEY HAVE PROVEN THAT THEY WANT ME OUT AS AN OWNER AND OUT OF WGT. I WILL PROBABLY NOT POST OR "SPAM" WGT AGAIN.

  I  apologize for the all caps above. but I wasn't going to re-type after noticing caps lock was on. It will just give wgt and it's community more equipment to bash me with. Again, sorry for the caps.

  On another note .... anyone else having lots of slow loading and constant disconnection notices this evening ? Or am I the only one ? I've checked connection on this end and it's fine all the way to New Orleans , Louisiana ... 

  Maybe my signal is stopping in the Vieux Carre for a look round ...
