    SweetiePie:
    That the Cleve 60 yarder, that punches at 50 and flops at 19, were of zero use for me and I sold it back.

    Just on that point all I would say is yes it punches at 50 yards, but it also easily punches many other distances including 19 yards if needed..........Below that `9 yards it pitches brilliantly as well as above that, and it full shots at 31 yards etc etc..........

    All pretty good wedges though I would agree.  I just got so used to the cleves.  4 through 105 yards pretty much stop them on a dime or allow a little run, and various options for shots.......

    Personally 100, 80 and 60 yard cleve for RR full tee length play at L level, and for funky CTTH / whatever then whatever you like I guess :).........Not looked in the OPs bag but he should bear in mind his PW (4th wedge) when choosing.

    Exactly Jim. It seems everyone forms a somewhat personal bias so as to provide comfort in their choices to make themselves right, ie, the comment by Sigg that some players were still beholden to their somewhat ancient Ping wedges, which would indicate this...what ? faux pas

    I have the Clevelands, played with ATVs  and quite liked them. You'll find most people with Clevelands simply because they were the earliest available(and used to be the cheapest) of all top wedges. Once you get it only reason you'd think of switching would be if u're used to the 50yd wedge. Otherwise no good reason to.

    All true Raz. One thing that seems to separate the Cleves is that with time and play, when that game, where the rhythm and meter are el perfecto, one learns to always remove the flag....not out of wishing and delusion, but out of fear.   ;-}
