Don't let the name fool you, SEL has evolved into a truely global CC with around a third Brits, a third US/Can and the rest a mix of Aus/NZ/SA with a spread around Europe. This means our Chatbox is pretty much active 24/7.
We are an active level 13 CC which means as well as the Shot and Putter Pal, you get a 5% XP bonus for all rounds. We pride ourselves in the participation % of our competitions. We only ask that you get involved in some of our CC Tournaments.
We are always evolving to give members the best CC experience possible. To that end our members are encouraged to provide feedback/suggestions and any changes are put to a vote/poll for all to decide.

Stats - If you like numbers you'll love SEL. All scores are entered into Statto(affo)'s number cruncher and out comes a load of interesting, helpful and often amusing stats. See HERE for an example.
Mentor Program - A number of players willing to guide you and improve your game. Statto's records also help measure your improvement. All players have their own dedicated Stat Page
COMPETITIONS
The SEL Tour
Each
seasonal tour runs over 3 months. It has a Strokeplay and CTTH Order of Merit
and also a Double Elimination Matchplay Tournament. Each tour has a 4 round Major Tournament at
its midway point with double OoM points on offer.
Inter CC
We
have a thriving Inter CC Team who play Matchplays against other CCs. We usually always have a match ongoing. Take a look at the Archive.
Online Leagues
An
all SEL competition that involves playing a Matchplay and a Blitz against
another member every couple of weeks.
Strokeplay – Order of Merit
Leagues/Cup
Comps – Mon–Fri over the first 3 weeks of
each month. League fixtures can be found
on the website under Schedule. 5 x 9 hole fixtures each week to play played anytime between Monday and Friday.
These rounds also double
up and count towards other competitions such as The SEL, Tier & Rankings
Cups. See the relevant tournament
heading for details. Note – while all
these count towards your ranking, only the Cups count toward the Order of
Merit, not the leagues.
Weekly Medal/Salver – Mon-Thurs
each week. 2 x 2 day 9 hole rounds with
the top 50% progressing to the 2nd round.
Midweekers – Tues-Sat. 2 x
18 hole Rounds
Captain’s Pennant/Salver –
Fri-Sun. 1 x18 hole Round
The Survivor – 4 x 3 day 9
hole rounds with the field cut by 25% after each round.
Strokeplay – Other
Handicap Heroes –
Mon-Thurs. 1 x 18 hole round with the final total adjusted via Affo’s handicap
system.
Uneven Lies – Fri-Sun. 1 x
18 hole round.
CTTH Order of Merit
Daily
CTTH/Cup Comps – A CTTH set each day. Your best 14 scores throughout the month
go towards your final total. Some of
these rounds also double up and count towards The CTTH SEL Cup and the Tiered
Cup.
CTTH
Survivor - 4 x 3 day 9 hole rounds with
the field cut by 25% after each round.
For Putt’s Sake – 2 x 3
day rounds. 2 different green speeds on
the Best of Putting Course
The 250 – A 3 day
event. The Aim is you get your total as
close to 250 but not under.
HOW TO JOIN SEL
1. You must be Pro tier or above and commit to being active in CC Comps at least once a month.
