Hi MrUmbrella, by chosing WGT flag to determine the Nation a player will play for, we meant no disrespect for any player, and I apologize if by doing so we hurt your feelings.
Me and Carlo are organizing this WGT tournament with quite a number of players to keep track of, so I hope you understand if we try to "keep it simple" by using what WGT offers to identify what nation a player belongs.
It is true that WGT uses your billing address to determine your flag, but I wouldn't say it has "nothing to do" with Nationality: I would say in most case the two things match.
And as you and me and many other can prove, you might end up playing WGT with a different Nation's flag than your own.
Also true that WGT does not make a difference between Scotland, Wales and Britain: again I apologize if this ends up against your Nation pride.
Thinking about the reason why I have a different flag in WGT, even made me think a lot about my identity too.
Some say "home is where your heart is" ... maybe we need to ask WGT to add this feature in one of the next updates :-)
I respect your choice, and I anyway wish you will want to reconsider and play this tournament with your "WGT Nation's Flag", which is what we will use for all players of this competition.
