Hey courteneyfish,
the scores are assigned temporarily, based on the current (last updated) score of the Nations competing with each other.
Make sure you check the "Calendars" tab, and the "Nations" tab (at the bottom of the spreadsheet), and you will get the idea how the points are assigned.
As players post scores in the current round, the Team score will be updated, as well as the points assigned to the Nations, according to each round pairings.
