The security risk is only there if the flash application is designed to attack you. The WGT flasch programs are not designed this way. Or if someone hacks the WGT servers and changes the programs to attack you while you are using them.

But Adobe will eventually abandon flash totally.  And WGT will be screwed unless they rolled out a new non flash client before that happens. This will be a lot of "fun" for us when it happens.

But hopefully a lot of problems created by the programming mess the WGT developers made while maintaining the current source code will stop to plague us with the countless strange bugs introduced at every update.

A lot of them can only happen due to the developers having to work with the souce code of a poorly structured programming project.

    Not sure about Fox.

With the Chrome based browsers,  I think there was only one Flash Release that was suspect. That's why those browsers stopped using that flash release.

All the latest flash releases after that have been fine

Chrome no longer automatically runs flash programs. You now have to click a play button on every single flash element in the WGT pages you want to actually see or use.

The Left side of my screen where your friends are listed turns gray and I have to click on the play arrow to see it.
    The cure.

I installed windows 10 a couple of days ago. Then I tried using the MS Edge browser to play the game, but it doesn't even let me login to WGT. I tried enabling flash, but to no avail. I also tried the IE 11 browser, but the meter flies past the ding mark.

Still using Maxthon3 to play the game, but I heard that MS edge works pretty good with the game, So I thought I'd try it

Does anyone have any tips on getting this browser to work?
