    Hi guys,

Just 10 days ago, I wrote a post like this, asked you guys to help me choosing my first clubs set ( I was like level 15 or something ).

I ended up having the R11 sets
    R11 Driver

    R11 Wood

R11 Hybrid (just throw them away yesterday)

    R11 irons

    ATV wedges 56, 60, 64 39+

    and the Odyssey Versa 33+

Thank all of you who given me advices, in 10 days i went straight to Tour Pro (almost Master I guess because my average score is around 70 now)

I placed 2nd in 2 bracket Tournament, I'm in Final for 4 other now (and many ready-go top 20 top 10)

Just realised I put so much effort into this game, everything felt great and I think now is the time to move on with my equipment

Before I planned to use the R11 set until like level 90+, or only change to the Ping G25 59+, but as I won some tournament and I think I can win more, then credits won't be the problem.

The Ping G25 I felt like spending extra 2000 credits is not really a good upgrade for the R11, even though the precision is 3.5 compare to 2.5 for the R11, but the forgiveness is only 2.5 compare to 3.5 from the R11. And extra 0.5 slow meter I don't really need that because I have no trouble at all hitting the ding or around the ding with the R11 even with the free balls.

The other option which is great upgrade I think is the Nike Vapor 64+, it offers great upgrade for the precision, 2.5 to 4.1 (which I think is huge), the forgiveness even though is only 3.0 but I think if I buy some slowmeter ball in the future, I can help that. The spin and the slow meter is the same compare to the R11 which I have no problem with that.

Here is the problem, the Trajectory of the Nike Vapor is Med, which is worse than the R11 (obviously, even in real life I would prefer to hit a high iron shot compare to a lower one) but the precision is huge.

So what do you guys think which one should I pick? G25 irons with high trajectory, low forgiveness (hate this the most) or the Nike Vapor with huge upgrade in precision (favourite part) but med trajectory (yep hate this as well).

I'm happy with my putter (not gonna change it until level 90+ for the upgrade version of the Versa or the Nike Method), I will upgrade my ATV wedges when I reach the right level (for some reason I really don't like the Cleverland both in game and real life)

By the way my Driver is only around 257 yards long, if you guys have any ideas if I should upgrade it, I mean after the iron or before the irons then please let me know

Thank you all of you so much.
And sorry for my bad English

You're putting too much emphasis on the specs. Get the High lofted clubs. You won't be sorry.

I agree with YankeeJim...you're over thinking the whole issue. The Ping G25's are a game changer.  With a slightly slower meter, precision is less an issue.  You can ding more shots with that meter speed.

I needed a better driver at the same time I was looking at the Pings and I bought the whole set.  The G25 lvl 58 driver is rated for 270 yds.  I used it until I could buy the lvl 79 SLDR in white (which I still use).

    Just my take.

I played with the Nike 64's up to level 90 and they are good clubs but the Med trajectory really is a handicap.  Quite often you'll find yourself in the position where you have these great precision irons but due to elevation and shot distance you're unable to get the ball as close as you'd like (even if you land the ball on the exact dent/contour/spot you want).

Don't give it another thought.  At level 59 grab the Pings.  If you can afford it buy the 48 TM Driver.  It's a game changer, quite literally.  Who wouldn't like to be hitting approaches from 30-40Y closer?

The next best thing to do is map every club to perfection.  If you know exactly how far every shot will land, roll, back up, etc, then all you have to do is actually get close to the Ding.  It's frightening how dramatically your scores will drop when you do this.

And if you have no problem hitting the Ding/Close to it you might want to at least invest in some cheap spin balls.  Spin really changes the playing field.  I'll send you a few to get you started.

    Good luck and Cheers.  Sean.

All of the above have given great advice. Cant go wrong with the pings. The high spec is the key. You are only at tour pro so the need for higher trajectory clubs will really be needed at the next level (master). If you have money to burn get the 59 pings. If not and you are doing well with the taylor mades, wait as long as possible. The taylor made driver at 49 (I think) will last you until legend. Whatever you do, just enjoy the game.

+1 g25 irons....no doubt....they  will get you to legend and a bit beyond .....you definitely want Hi traj...lower shots don't hold especially when green speeds increase as you advance.... regardless of precision..

When you hit legend....which you will do sooner than you think, the only thing you will be chomping at the bit for is length of the tee ...it gets frustrating when you advance up the ranks quickly but are not at the lvl to get the bigger guns.

Advice on the driver choice (above) is sound for now...

Wedges.....they will work....i still use a couple lvl 42 pings....60 64 - I've got them dialed.  I would imagine that an upgrade here would only see me hole out a few more shots instead of leaving myself within kick-in range.

putter is great - I used that until lvl 70 when I upgraded it to the next model...not a ton of difference (some but not mind blowing)

Oh.....and i see you are using starter balls...at least thats what you've got in the bag now.  Ahem......use anything but those. pairing the g25 with a 250 credit cali ball will make a huge improvement....even the tour SD SD-GI balls will make the game a bit more fun

I'm at pretty much the same point in the game as you, and honestly man get the level 48 Driver, it helps a ton. You can get to a lot of Par 5's in two, and some par 4's in one. If you can afford it get it.

Also, I'd grab a ball other than the starter one for a bit of spin. I'm using the 10 credit BES's and it works pretty good to stop shots.
