like i said before its pretty difficult to find someone to play with each week. the smartest thing to have done was make permanant pairings. You simply play with the same person each week. that way you become acquanted with your fellow player and can get familar with his/her schedule. still probablly a good idea to go by. set up a permanant pairing system.

Thoughts???

I don't want to play with the same person every week... but assigned pairings isn't that bad of an idea

Chris you make a good point. permanant pairings does take away the aspect of meeting people, but its hard to co-exist with everyones schedule. doesnt neccesarily have to be an idea for everyone, but i do believe it would help this tourney run a little more smoothly.

but im not the most organized person in the world either, so for that reason my opinion weighs very little. :)

Maybe each player post avail times when they sign up

For me its every night from 8pm to midnight est

then pairings can be made from there

GreenHits: I only let people play single round if they have had trouble organising games and need to do it as a last resort, so no is the answer to your question.

Lilrob: i have the solution to your problem, IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE ORGANISING GROUPS AND WANT THE SAME GROUP FOR EACH WEEK SIGNUP HERE AND I WILL PUT YOU INTO GROUPS (people from the same country as you)
