I logged in today as i have every day since joining and after my first 9 holes - stroke play, i didnt get the points for consecutive days.

Up until today i usually played in the mornings, Today I played in the evening.

I'm In Australia, is this a time zone thing?

    If so, THAT SUX

Does this mean I have to start the  ALL OVER AGAIN to build back up to the Max?

It's a 24 hour thing, Shrude. You need to know your local time as compared to the start time WGT uses. The bottom of page 2 has a post by Mem in this thread that has an explanation.

I am in the EST. The time my CDP points come is after 7PM each day. Convert 7PM EST to your time and then use that as your "day".  GL

    Thanks JIm

Have posted in that thread to try and work out what time WGT CDP 24 hours starts and ends in AU time

We can figure it out. What time zone are you in? It's 8:30 AM EST here right now, yesterday for you. By the looks of it you're 19 hours ahead of WGT from this time zone chart.

So, if WGT uses 4PM as the bewitching hour (it's 7PM for me and I'm 3 hours ahead of them) your time would start at 11AM I think. I used Sydney from the chart.

LOL-Fear not, Shrude, you are not a doofus. In fact, you're probably in the majority given that this is a bit confusing. By your playing at 9PM my guess is you missed out by 9-10 hours.

Here's how it probably went down. Assuming your "time"  is 11AM you're playing along every day around this time.

    •  You play a game at 10AM-day 1.
    •  At 11AM your day changes to Day2, unbeknownst to you at that point, and you don't play again.
    • The next day you skip the AM session and wait until 9 to play
    •  The problem is Day2 became Day3 at 11AM so you actually played that 9PM game on Day3, missing out on Day2. (You didn't play between the end of Day1 and the end of Day2 which was 11AM)

That should make it as clear as mud. Hope it helped a little. :-)

So...  does that mean that the day/ time i played my very first game, is then the start of my 24hr period?

I did email WGT, this is their reply:

    Normal 0 false false false EN-AU X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Dear WGT User,

Thank you for contacting WGT Member Services about your Consecutive Daily Points (CDPs). As the eligibility requirements for CDPs are often misunderstood, we ask that players please make sure that they are meeting the following two criteria...

First - At least one match must be finished every 24 hour period as defined by Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), rather than by your local time zone.   The following map can help you to determine what time Midnight UTC is in your area:

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fc/Timezones2008_UTC-10.png

As an example -- Here in California UTC Midnight happens at 4pm.

Second - CDPs are awarded based on the time that matches are finished, rather than the time they are started.  Finishing your daily match after midnight UTC will result in your CDPs being reset.

For example -- I can start a match everyday at the exact same time (say 3:30 California time) but if even one of those matches finishes after 4:00pm, my CDPs will be reset.

We hope that this information will help you to ensure that you never miss your Consecutive Daily Points!

    Thank you,
    WGT Member Services

So going from that map they provided, Midnight UDC time , for me in Sydney Au would be  10am?

Sp I must have ended my first game of the day before 10am each day until yesterday when i let that 10am go by and didnt play until 9pm?

    Is this correct?

    Thanks for your help :)

That's exactly what you did. 10AM is your "midnight" (I was using 11 in the eample.)

Now you know. Wasn't this fun?    ;-)

We are lucky in the UK as it is midnight to midnight, I would have thought that would have been the time set in the US

Thanks very much for your help!
