  SLC Cup Rules & Regulations:

  1. First Round will take place from Thursday 29 Oct 2015 to Sunday 15 November 2015.

  2. A Handicap system will be used. 2 Holes will be concede per tier difference in matchups. Holes Nr 1 & 10 to be conceded with 2 handicap, Holes 1,2, 10 & 14 with 4 handicap. if a player tiers up before his fixture, handicaps will be applied or erased.

  3. Please send friend request to opponents as soon as possible.

  4. Matches must be arranged for a specific time & date, between players eg "Invite me when Im green" is not an arrangement.

  5. Match problems must be communicated to your team captains (Tuxedo2, Twinponds or NicoZandberg) without delay. Team Captains will then relay these problems to myself. If matches are not complete a decision will be made to whom the match is awarded. Thus non-completion does not necessarily mean a draw. Try your best to get your matches done in specified period.

  6. Match scores must be posted regularly by team captains or individual players on the public WGT forum thread created. Link to thread will be provided soon.

  7. Points are awarded as follows: 3 points for the win 1 point for a draw and 0 points for the loss.

  Please note that matchups are deemed a draw if all square after 18 Holes. Extra Holes are not required. However players may continue if they wish. if players do continue into extra holes in the spirit of the match, they are welcome to do so, however the match will still be declared a draw.

  8. No focus boosts will be allowed during matches. Use of this tool will lead to a disqualification.

  9. With 4 teams partaking in this friendly competition, various squad sizes were allowed. To try and give all participants 2 games during the competition, SEL will be allowed to interchange Legends with an average of 67 or higher and also lower tiers.

  10. First knockout round will be played at Bethpage Black & Finals Round at Royal St Georges. All matches set up as 18 Hole Ranked Matchplay, Default conditions, 90 second timer.

  11. Please finish your games even if your CC cant win your matchup anymore. This is a friendly competition, all players have signed up voluntarily and would like to represent their various Country Clubs.

  12. If a match end in a tie after all fixtures have been completed, each team will nominate a single player to play 18 holes matchplay on the current course. Extra holes will be played if needed to break the deadlock.

  Footnote: Three of these matches will be screened on SEL TV on Southern England Links  website. Go to  www.selgolfclub.co.uk

  Affo vs Slamminsam1, PTrenter vs Wupta and Penglish3 vs Lakeside1952.

  sorry if this sounds dumb, but how do we play 2 games.? do we play the same opponent twice or do we only play 2 games if we win the first match ?

  After the above matches have been played the 2 winners will meet and play for the cup and the losers play a "consolation" match. A new spreadsheet will be posted as soon as possible, more than likely on a new thread.

  Just played my game with Rod (20feet) and lost 1 down. Was a very good game with Rod def bringing his A+ game after his recent level up to Tour Legend. Managed to take it all the way to 18th where I managed to sink my 17ft putt to try put the pressure on for the draw, unfortunately there was no doubt in it, and Rod duly sunk his 7ftr for a birdie too to take the match 1 up.

     Thanks John its was a great battle for sure, if wgt didnt screw you those couple of times ..... who knows how it might have played out.

   And  believe  me i was definitely sweating for the last putt to go in LOL .

  played my match with Texsoon i wasn't on my best form and lost 4down i was 6 down on hole 10 then went on a charge to win a couple of holes back but he held is nerves and went on to win.good game good company and Texsoon played well

  Just finish my match agains TEdUp. Wow what an up and down. It was a real grat match and very funny 2. When he start the game he trow darts and I thought he is 2 good for me. But I have managed. 1up for me after an extra hole.
