    Fencer100:

I found this somewhere in a review of cleanmem, wonder whether I should try cleanmem, since I have Wins 7 64 bit

    Special Note:

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 (64-bit).  To be quite honest with you, after about a month of use, I don't see a need to install a third-party memory optimizer.  I'm sure that some might disagree, but I won't be using them nor will I be testing them on my Windows 7 system.  My recommendation, if you have Windows 7, is to leave well enough alone.  So far, I am quite impressed with all the tools within Windows 7 including disk defragmenter, backup, search, and even memory management.  I'm finding myself using less and less third-party tools with Windows 7.

I also have Win 7 64bit and if you can think of another way to optimize your memory or RAM to play golf at WGT without memory buildup, I suggest you try that alternative, as i was willing to do anything to be able to play.....I found cleanmem and it works

i tried it(cleanmem) with windows7 and 64bt and it gave me a glitch in my meter about 1/4 of the way to the ding, since ive stripped this thing down to cooperate with WGT i think installing and running cleanmem just made things a slight bit worse, i will say it is a very slight glitch, but its there. so i think if someone was using more of the memory on their computer they might really benefit from using cleanmem to keep an eye on whats using memory that doesnt need to be doing so while playing WGT,............BTW if you inquire to WGT about the  leaks from their end they tell you to go in the wgt game settings and set to lowest quality flash, and to turn off a few other options, after trying this the graphics went terrible and the ball was almost square, that is the fix they send, or maybe a link to this forum....

cleanmem pulls  1-1/2 mb (1.7) and only tells Windows to clean it's own (memory or RAM)....you can think what you want, but there's no way THIS program caused your meter to glitch.....you can blame that on WGT. I get small glitches too, that could be anything....but obvoiusly you don't understand how this program works. Try not to discourage anyone that may benefit from using a program that may enable them to play WGT instead of every shot having jitter. If it's not for you then by all means, don't install it. But please don't blame this very small program for causing your glitches. It was intended to solve the memory leak buildup that WGT has acquired, NOT to perform miracles and make WGT perfect. It hasn't been perfect since day one.  The memory monitor is just an added feature to a memory cleaner. Cleaning the ram to refresh the buildup is the intention. pull up your task manager and watch this thing work.(do it manually) It refreshes every running process. I've watched WGT go over 1,000 mb many times before 9 holes was even finished before i got cleanmem. Now it doesn't. WIN ! WIN! situation. Until i miss those birdie putts. then i want to break the computer totally.

I uninstall it ,watched your video again, reinstalled it, if you don't enable any of the advanced monitor settings there is no extra glitch,  the cleaning dropped two percent of memory used, for me this thing has no use for WGT but is good for the computer, i was forced to keep everything clean to even play in the first place and thats why its of no use, ...the refreshed processes take just a few seconds to go back to where they were, but thanks for the good info..

The win 8.1 OS does NOT help this at all... 10 is a joke 2... Been building computers since the 80's...I might reinstall 7. Or 3 OS's on 1 drive...easy.to.do
