We are aware of the issue of the payouts showing that way. It is something we are working to get fixed. As to why you came in second, the Tiebreaker came into effect. It can be read about in the FAQ.

Ok here's what I see... referring me to FAQ for this matter was great except, there are 2 sets of rules ....these rules in FAQ apply for bigger tourneys like the Leadbetter Swing challenge. For the kind of tournament I was playing in ( a monthly or a weekly) there are different rules.....Earliest entry wins in a tie . So now we know.
