This is for everyone EXCEPT members of the Georgian CC !

I have a simple question  "What are you doing ?"

Concerning the CC Event # 11  (The Bash)

Correct me if I am wrong,   There is a tournament  or event where a LOT of people try to win ONE prize ( a virtual putter )  yes I said ONE !   A virtual putter with NO Value !  Am I right so far ?  Ok

Lets check the results "shall we"       The Georgian CC  =  86.917

                                                               WGT Imigos CC =   42.965

                                                     Majestic Mountain CC  =  37.529

Hmmmmmm       Do you guys think you have a snow balls chance to win ANYTHING ?

CMON MAN !   Again the prize has no value .  Again there is only ONE Prize

WHO do you think will win ?

So my question remains ,,What are you doing ??????

I don't play'em, in fact the past 3 or 4, no one in our CC even started one...and to set the record straight, after the first CC Clash thing, no one has even mentioned it in our forum.

I'm too busy playing real matches* against other CC's to get involved in a pass buying competition.

    * matches where the player who takes the least strokes actually wins.

There was one clash where only one player played using his free pass - his goal to see if he could make it into the top 100 - finished just outside and to my knowledge only played a few games.

I do know of a club who finished in the top 100 2 clashes ago, 100% turnout of the membership using free passes................more impressive as there was only 1 member.

Interest is low, but WGT still make some money by preying on those willing to chase something that is worthless and cost nothing to produce.

I do not have a problem with that, in fact I find it very amusing.

Never mentioned in our club, never look personally to see if any member played but dont suppose anyone does, especially the SEL shoutbox brigade.

I have other post somewhere reg clubs playing this crass cash clash, especially red tee only comp clubs.

Not sure why you would work through tiers gradually moving to proper tees, to then go back to play them all the time.

Right now, drinking a coffee and reading the forums.

About the farcical situation we currently have with clashes?  Nothing, the whole thing is just a load of bollox.

They took a step in the right direction by making a good score worth more than a bad one, now they just need to make it so only the first 30, 40 or whatever scores can count.  That way it would really come down to talent, not pure number of members taking part.

Ha the answer is here right in the forums.

Not trying to derail the thread,,,,,but my coffee machine has a problem that the seal where filter holder part with the handle (expresso machine) seems to leak sending grinds into the cup making a rank coffee. Anyone know of a fix?.

I really could use a flat white!

    Is it this?

The group gasket is a large rubber O-ring that seals the portafilter and portafilter basket to the group. It is inserted into a groove that is built into the group. If the portafilter is leaking, the group gasket is usually the part you need to replace. Often the portafilter basket and group gasket should be changed together
