    turfsand:

assuming the new ready-go list will be out this coming saturday perhaps we should make a few requests:

    all 50 credit:

beth page black front 9 with moderate wind, champ 13 greens and hard holes

whistler back 9 with moderate wind, tournament 12 greens

best of par 5 front 9 with low wind and fast 9 greens

kiawah front 9 with moderate wind, champ 13 greens and medium holes

    thx WGT for your consideration

    perhaps for 100 credits:

congressional front 9 with moderate winds, very fast greens and hard holes

oakmont front 9 with low wind, champ 13 greens and medium holes

a few 75 credit ready-go tournaments would be welcomed by many players as well

I personally think there's far too many 500/1000cr RGs. Especially since its the same top 30 people that play and win in all of them while it takes 4-6 weeks for the rest of the new players that haven't already learned to donate to the big dogs.  Heck I was dumb enough to play in one for $10 and shot a 56 like a month ago and figured I'd be making some money or at the very least get my money back.  I ended up tying for 26th place with 9 other people with a -16 and lost like 800 credits.

The majority of people are going to play 50/100 credit RGs and still end up donating to the big dogs but at least there's enough "normal" people playing those that the majority will have a chance to at least get their money back and play for free... which is essentially what I do now.

So my vote is for more "low stakes" RGs and brackets since more people will play in them.

Oh and someone suggested switching up the tees.  Bad idea, there's already far too many kiddie tee superstars.

i totally agree, this list is not very exciting if you ask me. The ready go's are either 500/1000 credits, or 50 creds, how about meeting somewhere in the middle wgt?

I don't see lots of 9 holes rg's in the new list, too much 18 holes for me

Thank you for the 200cr  TL RG on PB WGT, some more TL RGs on different courses in that price bracket would be good, be able to play for more than 20 mins a day then. ;)

Many have tried and many have failed.

People have offered lists of tournaments to suit ALL our needs High End to Low and plenty of ideas sent into the Cosmos, but rarely do we get a list to suit.

Obviously it takes a Rocket Scientist to get this list sorted and sadly at last count we have none on the books.

If we had 30 even lie RG's evenly spread and changed fortnightly I reckon it would go a long way to keeping us specks of dust less fragmented.

I guess page space is an issue????......No......wait a minute........last year we had a list 42 games long.......so that can't be it.

Damn......someone just turned a vacuum cleaner on and I gotta get outa here.

    Cheers from Al. :-)

Fully concur... Come on WGT, help us specks of protoplasm out mates. It's Christmas for goodness sakes. Don't Scrooge us out of entertainment.

    What's a fortnight?

Two weeks, not to be confused with fartknight, which is a description of a suit of armor after you've worn it.

    oh, almost forgot...

    eff ya

    ;-)
