Thanks for the heads up Lizzie re the potential danger, but so long as Penlee Point and Cawsand Bay are nowhere near St Andrews or Kiawah Island, then I shall put it to the back of my mind and out of the way.  If they want to blow up Bethpage or Oakmont, then who am I to stand in their way.

Actually, Andyson has already blown up a few holes on Bethpage, so finishing the job off might not be a bad idea.

    SGTBilko:

how about this one. This is why I wrote this post!

    Sand Save % 30.63%
    Scrambling % 40.93%

and because of these stats you have this stat

    One Putt % 28.64%
    Two Putt %

    58.67%

Bottom line you spend 75% or better of your time on Kiawah and Saint Andrews. You never developed your short game, you moved up in the tiers ways to quickly and now you struggle with the game!

    Just a casual observation

I think you missed the gist of the OP. He was laughing at people that whinw, not whining himself.

    crgade:

also willing to bet that if we played 1 18 hole game on each of the four courses you would not beat me by the 5 shot difference in our averages

or hell make it simple 20 shots for the 72 holes

You might be right, I do not care about my average. I think it is one of the worst detractors on this game and causes a lot of harm because to many often focus on this stat rather than those I mentioned above.

If that were the case I apologize! If not, my point stands.

Not sure if this has anything to do with anything but heard the story reported lately of a fishing vessel  25 to 30 miles south by southwest of Cork, Ireland. The captain of the ship reports that late last night his ship was attacked by what he believed to be a pink helicopter with twin rotating mini guns. Although his vessel was not hit, he and the crew were given quite a scare. He does not recall everything clearly as he had several pints before retiring for the night, but seems to recall hearing a woman's voice over a loud speaker yelling something like"git orf moi Ooooscan", and proceeded to throw a half full martini glass onto the bow of the boat. Oddly and almost immediately after that an older man dressed as a butler emerged from the helicopter, threw down a small rope ladder and proceeded to climb down onto the boats bow and clean up the broken glass. The captain of the ship seems to remember the butlers hands were heavily bandaged but was distracted by the loud barking of a dog, also coming from the helicopter. Then the helicopter took off with the butler hanging from the ladder and what sounded like the butler cursing his employer's saying "Damn you to hell lizzard". The last part was not clear due to the noise from the helicopter and the barking dog.

Later at a press conference, Field Marshall Sir Edmond Rossetti was asked if he had heard of the incident and if he wished to comment. He replied that the RAF or Royal Navy did not have any bloody pink helicopters and left the meeting. He was then heard telling his personal aid to "find my daughter now!".

Personally, I think this one should be explored further by the WGT inquirer.

    Have a nice day!

This is quite simply a slur sdorr!

I refute totally the allegation that I would be drinking Martini.

Everyone knows I'm a Pimms girl.

Had a ditty from Daddy, seemed to contain something of a rebuke, and now Ive had to hide heli in the stables, which means I have to spend ages and ages with stable lad checking her out.Am reminded of each cloud purporting to have a silver lining...

    My dear friend Lizzie,

Apologies my lady for any inconvenience. As stated, it was just a story and I wish by no means to cross swords with you as I am completely out matched, out gunned and nowhere near your equal to wit, imagination and cutting sarcasm.

Of course your a Pimms girl. How silly of me.

The Captain was most certainly drunk and to believe him would be folly, but there was a later interview with a new deck hand named hrth who took the job only the day prior to earn some extra monies and although he could not put his hands quite on it, the whole "incident" had a glaring familiarity. So you see that some may still find some credence to the Captains all to delusional tale and help explain that all to mysterious "code" found earlier in this thread. Oooops.

But tis wise still to be safe than sorry and a clever idea to misplace the heli until like all good families, this whole sorted mess is swept under the rug. Perhaps you and the stable boy could give quimpers a bath together to help pass the time.

    How is Lambert?

Please give my regards to Sir Edmond and have a nice day.
