I was being funny, there is a huge difference my friend. I sent you an invite earlier to see if you wanted to play your first round wga tour. My good buddy Vic runs the tour and you can play at any point as long as you have registered. A little too sensitive mate, this is all for fun. I can play nice, sorry if you did'nt see my invite. You never know you could learn a couple of things from this guy who does'nt know how to hit these balls :-)   JB

I love the way they seem to stay in the air longer when you put full back spin when hitting your driver. Have not had any big backspins, but does stop dead with the wedges. Had one 3 ft. side spin and a couple of weird bounces on the greens. All in all a good ball if a bit pricey.

Now that I've gone back to the GI3-S ball, I'm finding it's properties are different to what I was used to before trying the Callaway.  Pre-Callaway, I could stop the ball when putting on full backspin, not all the time because it depended on the green to some extent, but enough times to notice.  Now, ALWAYS jumps forward and rolls.  Admittedly, I have played most of my recent games at Oakmont, almost exclusively the wk6 9-hole unlimited comp because I knew that I could better my score of 33 and get into a good position.  Maybe when I go back to the other courses it may be different.  Can but hope.

The new Callaway balls are brilliant. With the right wedges they spin like crazy. Oakmont, Kiawah more so than others. At St Andrews the balls stop on a dime. Just into the wind they come up short coz of the spin. Again, like moving up a tier, involves getting used to the faster greens, tees and stronger winds.

I agree these callaway balls (s) are great, backspin wow. You really have to take bs into account.

Just tried the i(z) distance ball and the extra diatance is amazing!  And it's the first ball where if you put top spin on it, it actually does go much further.  Does stop as well, but not as good as the i(s) spin ball... obviously!

Like the clubs once they come out with new balls they have the option of decreasing the properties so that the new balls are actually as superior as the dots indicate. I'm ready to trade in my daytona for the ghost. It's not nearly as accurate as it once was. More like as accurate as the old spyder was and I'll bet the spyder is really spraying them now.

Yep... I've haven't been playing much, but I did notice extra carry on the driver.
