Joe (GTownMohawks) and I have been friends for years...he is an outstanding player from any tee. Like so many others, he mixes them up to keep it interesting (our CC does this as well). IMHO, he is upset because he thinks he's being lumped in with the "red tee" warrior crowd. Absolutely not the case...he has worked very hard to attain TL status, and has done so with complete integrity.
I said in an earlier post, that the one major problem with being able to play from any tee is that ALL accomplishments get watered down and questioned.
My opinion is this is ultimately a game for fun...a distraction from the pressures of real life. People can do whatever they want, as long as they don't take advantage of others. Additionally, CCs have their own rules, and if you join, you should be expected to follow them...anything else is just white noise.
