Ok...I entered two tourneys at same time...both had same amount of players entered when I entered. Now one, coincidentally the one with low wind and very fast greens, is filled...and waiting for one moron to shoot.

The other, which is high winds and tourney greens, is not filling at all. So, my question is (or take it as a suggestion) for the staff at WGT, why is there not a time limit on how long the tourney stays open. Say, a tourney has no one join for 12 or even 24 hours....why not shut it down. Then give ranks to the individuals that shot, and divide up the rest of the purse evenly to those individuals. (The players that entered and decided to wait, until everyone else has shot, to shoot their round will be withdrawn....they should've shot when they entered----or in a timely fashion)

I don't think that it is too much to ask....for this to be implemented(but I don't know the actual logistics here). People spread word of conditions....and tourneys sit unfinished...or at least not completed for a long time.

An immediate remmedy would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You very much,

    wjj8

I can really only speak to the way things use to be under the old payout rules.  Very seldom, perhaps Bethpage back 9(as the exception) would it take more than one day for a tourney to fill and conclude.  However, under the new system I have noticed that tournaments seem to be filling much slower due to regular players not participating.  Best of luck to you and hitem straight.

You do know that there is a variety of 15 different ready-gos that you can participate in at the same time, don't you? That's the equivalent of 10 full rounds... at a fast pace of 30min per round that's 5 hours of playing time, non stop!  Even if most of them are slow filling, you should still be able to get at least half of them open up in a day....

And if you're cherry picking the ones that you play best, well, you're only shooting yourself in the foot IMO.  Get out there and play in them all!  You'll become a better player for it.

immediate remedy... had to chuckle @ that ;)

Anyway, so you're proposing start the clock whether 50 players have joined or not. How much time are you going to give everyone, a day, or 2, or 3? Just say you give em a day.

So then for example only 30 have filled up Bethpage Back 9. Where's the lost revenue from the 20 that aren't playing going? I can guarantee you it won't be out of WGT's rake, it's going to get cut out of the payout.

So now 5th place doesn't pay 99 credits (100 when they fix things). It will be pay 60 credits. Now if I signed up expecting to get 99 credits for 5th place and then find out I'm only getting 60, well you just created more problems than you solved.

The solution lies in figure out how to fill these up in a timely fashion. If they still care about them, which I'm starting to believe they really don't.

I like to mix it up and play all the Ready Goes, but now with the new pay out scam it's hard to make any credit returns on the course we play well on.So why waste time and credits on a course that we do not play well on. The change with the RG payouts are only to have more in the group of fifty to lose on thier credits, so more members will need to buy more credits more often. A big take for WGT so i don't see it changing back unless it takes days complete a RG of fifty

I have limited my self to one  18 hole RG a day and maybe not that many because of the new payout system. I played 2-5 a day before. I'm sure I will not remain as good a player, practise just ain't the same. :-((

I for one like the teired based RG's....payout structure needs some tweeking for sure though.

In my case, previously under the old Rg setup, I think I entered 3 or 4 RG's...shot well, but never even got full return on my credits...

Under the new Tiered based, playing against Masters only, I've playe 3 RG's, WD from one when I was +3 after 4 holes, but came in 2nd in another and 3rd I think in another...and actually for the very first time came out ahead on entry fees.

I do think the top payouts is too weighted, even though I benefited from it, but no more do I have to enter a RG and need to shoot a 30 in 9 or a 60 over 18 just to gain credits or break even....I'll take that ANY day over feeding credits to the best players on the site:)

the new payouts for ready-gos are not good. this coming from someone who has won a few since the change. just feels like it allows the rich to get richer. and does not put a premium on a competition or for those trying to improve their skills. thanks for considering a change wgt

I would if I could afford it and had the time. When you work 12 hours a day and those 12 hours are between 7:30 Pm and 7:30 AM that doesn't give you a lot of time to play during the week.
