Dear WGT friends...i need a little advice.

I'm currently using the level 85 Nike irons but i'm in doubt to get the level 90 TM Rsi irons.

A lot of you are using using them....did you use the Nike's in the past? If so what's the difference in trajectory and landing apart from the figures shown and how much does the meterspeed count?

My main problem is the long irons don't hold the greens very well and have to recover with a brilliant pitch or flop.

I started using the 85 Nikes as soon as I reached 85.   When I made it to 90, I went with the RSI's.  The RSIs are much better irons, maybe my last set.

No magic anything to anything, but if you put in the effort to learn them the L90s easily edge it, IMO.  They are cunningly so close to any HL iron set.

Now if a v mediocre player was asking I would say stick with the easier going L85s as the L90s will penalise poor shots more.

Lots of threads on it as you might imagine, but essentially that's it.

I just bought the TM Level 90 irons. They have a bit of a learning curve to them. But I immediately liked the yardages better than my Level 85 Nikes. As I'm learning the new clubs, overall, I find that I like them more than the Nikes.

They definitely have more stopping power, which has allowed me to get closer to some pins that I wasn't able to get very close to before. But the difference in scoring has not been dramatic. Even so, I haven't owned them that long and am still learning them. And I'm still learning which ball works best with them for me.

For the Nikes, the Callaway Chrome Soft Ball (L33+) was a great match for me. But I had a bit more difficulty with the TaylorMade RSi2 irons. So now I'm trying the Nike 20XI-X Ball (L71+), which is a more expensive ball.

Overall, I'm glad I bought them. But I had a bunch of extra credits, so if they hadn't worked out, I wasn't really out anything. YMMV

Bottom line: I think they're great clubs, but I don't think they're going to transform my game.

I reached lvl 85 as a legend and bought the Nikes.

However, I regret buying them since purchasing the Taylor Made lvl 90 irons. My game improved out of sight at Pinehurst and other courses where stopping power is a great advantage.

There is a huge difference between 3.5 spin and 4.5. Great results whether you use the Nike lvl 48/61 3.5 spin ball or the Callaway 3.5 spin ball.

@Solarflares  "The big quandary is meter-speed , and also how wide the meter is at full-power".

The meter is slightly quicker, but wider with the Rsi clubs.

Actually I am now finding that I score much better with more consistent dings with the 3.0 meter speed lvl 48 Nike ball rather than the lvl61 3.5 meter speed ball.

@WGT It'd be great if WGT made available a Nike ball (or any other brand that wants to jump on board) available this the following specs:

    Spin 3.5

    Distance 4.5

    Meter speed 2.5

    Durability 2.5

Price 350cr, considering the lvl48 ball has the same specs apart from meter speed and is priced at 400cr

    Cheers

    Mike

And I don't know enough about how the earnings thing works to understand how I even got that $8 or even what it means. Nevertheless, you lost me. While I'm sure you have a point, I have to admit, it escapes me.

In other words, I had built up about 12,000 credits, so spending about 3,150 to purchase a set of clubs was no big deal.
