    Miantiao:

The meter is slightly quicker, but wider with the Rsi clubs.

    Great info.

    Hey Solarflares,

I got the Rsi2's when I hit l90 as a TM, and found that very quickly they were great.  Mid and long iron stopping power is awesome using a Nike l61 ball. After winning one TM tier tournament, tying for 1st (losing the tiebreaker) in 2 others within about 2 - 3 weeks.  I was moved up to Legend even though my average was still just below 63.

Only problem I had as far as balls was with l90 Platinums.  Distances were much shorter (about 5%) than the L61's if I was even slightly off ding.  And with the 4.0 meter speed I was often a tad early.  Never tried the Blacks.

I routinely play with the L61 Nikes and l33 Callys, and the only adjustment is to allow 2-3% more power with the Callys.  I sometimes practice with a WGT G13-S.  I shot a 6 under 30 on the front 9 of the new Best of Par 4 with that ball, and missed 2 makable birdie putts after misreading the greens.

I hedged my bets a little bit and kept my l85 VR's.   I'm currently using them for a few weeks as I've got a bit of a swing timing issue right now.  But thats me, not an equipment problem.

The BB l89 is so unforgiving, I've just about quit using mine.  The R15 is OK, but doesn't have the stopping power of the BB.  However you are not penalized as severely when you miss the ding.

Hope this helps a little bit.

Now, the answer lies in the balls you use generally.. If u use 4.5+ spin balls , u don't really lag much in terms of performance with Nikes.. Marked improvement otherwise..

In terms of consistency, I find the PW can be bit strange of RSi..

As for 3wd, BB is really good but unforgiving.. The archetype model for how the top drivers should have been..

Strange might not be the right word... But I have found that the PW's  in  all the iron sets higher than the old R11 iron set play slightly shorter than their rated distance as compared to the rest of the set and the Pw's in all the sets before.

+1  to borntobesting.  That has been my experience too...either come up short, or add a little bit more and then end up way long.  One reason people would like to break up the sets and use a Cleveland 52* for example instead.

I don't know which ball you usually play, but you have had a few types lately.  Like I say I don't know, but oftentimes when people say things vary too much it's swapping balls that is the problem.

Also not so sure about the L85 Nike PW as don't remember really testing that club on a free rental.  Certainly don't remember an issue standing out either though.  The rest of the HL PWs are very consistent, dart like consistent, if played properly.

Try rolling the spin back back say 25%, and then 100% power or 95/90%........Same exact power, same ball and same exact spin each time will equal a reliable shot each time.  Remember they punch well too, and not saying the only way.

I tend to agree. In the short time I've been playing the TM RSi2 irons, I've found the pitching wedge to be pretty consistent and accurate.

Yesterday, I was playing Royal St. George's and drove it into the 30-40% rough around 100 yards from the green (IIRC). Using the PW, I got it to the green and it rolled very little, leaving me a birdie opportunity (about 12 feet from the hole). Of course, I missed the putt! Stupid pitching wedge!! ;-)
