    andyson:
I did my best to shoot the worst clash score with free pass and rocks.  My score was 11 and I was in 1652nd position.  But I actually won that clash with 11 points so now I'm in 1164th place with 659 points!  LMFAO!

    1) Nice indication of the probable no. of CCs involved,

    2) You had help of another 49 points or played a second time.

    Well done!

I see my post was deleted by the censor, there's a kick in the nuts for freedom of speach.

I'll try again, using nicer words.

    Dear WGT,

it must have become clear by now that there is very little interest in these events, almost every one results in a large number of negative posts.

We really don't need or want novelty tee markers that often cause the flagstick to become invisable when playing from them.  This is not a good thing, just in case you're not clear on that point.

Might I request that instead of creating event #18 you get your software engineers to spend their time investigating why so many of us are unable to view replays.  This would make many of us happy. Which is a good thing, in case you're not clear on that point.

If you'll sort this out for us I promise to refrain from using nasty words in the forums for a month.

Or until event #18 at least  : )

    Many thanks.

Paul if you are into the clashes all of a sudden there is a certain CC that loves to compete.          Your buddy Dennis, love my new putter

I waisted very little time and very little cash in this clash only purchased 1 sleeve if balls and less than 600 credits. And one of my teamates will receive a nice new putter. Also everyone in our club participating woke up with 5 club pass. Go Georgians Go

Great post Dennis and yes one of your teammates will be the lucky recipient of the wonderful putter. Obviously a great club with awesome players and mad hot skills to win the clashes with regularity.

Yes you only had to but 11 passes and ball use....but that is one member....so the club has paid a fairly high price for a putter.

But my thoughts are  WGT really need more golden clubs. The reason is I look at your scores which are erhmmm very average, so more golden clubs might enable you to improve the quality of your scores, not just the quantity.

Till this is truly addressed, many clubs simply will not bother with a flawed concept and the lack of real incentives.

I too agree with MM - fix the issues surrounding game play and it will produce longer term benefits, not just a short term gain from short sighted players.

I thought this was a thread about the clash?

Word compete and this won't gel.  It's of course why most places won't waste their time with the zero kudos nonsense. You like it that's fine too.

Congrats on the new putter ........You realise better are available cheaper I assume?

Also there is that old chestnut of perhaps actually learning to putt, and maybe even doing it in a real competition.  All as previously eloquently alluded to by Alcaucin.
