I know deviations are in the game, but I swear I'm getting really bad ball flights every 2 or 3 shots today. Even putts are shanking off 8-10 cups from their target line on easy 12 footers.  Anyone else notice a spike in deviations today?

I think the algorithm is designed to do this (even when you hit the perfect mark) to entice you to buy clubs with better precision and forgiveness. Without income, WGT goes away. That being said... It would be really really nice if the "perfect mark" were exempt from the algorithm so a perfect shot would actually go where u intend 4 it 2 go.

Here is a deviation for you. The next shot played like from the rough, but I don't know where in the rough, because my shot went no where near the flag.

With the new balls..a lot of shots when water or ob is right of target and when I click at perfect spot...meter suddenly takes off right causing loss of ball in water or ob on other holes..anybody else having this problem..wearing out ball is ok...but, this is getting weird.

The deviation problem--mysterious wayward shots--prevent me from entering tournaments that cost money.

    Here is the deal, people:

Just stop purchasing products or entering tournaments that cost money.  I am not a fool;  Purchase the golf balls when they are lost on "perfect hits"??...sorry.. I don't have that kind of money.  And I don't dare pay money to play in a tournament due to the deviations.  And the deviations will not cause me to purchase new clubs, either.

We, the people supporting this site, determine whether this website sinks or swims.  If they really expect us to "play and pay" as members, then we need a more consistent game.  And it's not really free, not when in order to keep up with the competition one must purchase better clubs...ect, only to find the same old deviations.

STOP BUYING PRODUCTS!!!!!  Then you will see some changes.

These so called deviations have been in the game since day one. It doesn't matter what clubs you have, or buy, they are still there. One or two off shots per game is not going to make or break a round, birdy the next hole, and all is forgotten. I have as many balls in the water on 17 kiawah, as the next player does because of the deviation factor, but I know its there, and can show up anytime, expect it.

Not talking about the expected few shots per round, I mean every other shot seemingly. At some level you need to trust if you measure it up and hit it right, it will go at least somewhat where expected. Give me a piece of crap putt-putt putter and in real life I can still hit it along my target line. I have never ever in real life shanked a medium length putt by nearly 10 cups width. Haven't played yet today, but the way it was yesterday, I might as well just close my eyes and play blind.

I did empty my temp files yesterday. That helps a little, but then you have to deal with the slow loading in multi play for a day also! It has seemed to be a little worse since the update last month. At times my putter meter will go out to the end of the bar before the ball is struck. It is frustrating. :)
