    Nope .. did not work!

Nor me and it is bloody frustrating....I have to look away.

What retards thought this was an improvement. The slide downwards continues.........

+1 I guess we will have to bombard Top Golf with e-mails venting about this new brain fart . I for one suffer from myopia so for me its a pain . So maybe after a few e-mails threating to stop playing the game and spending money will get some attention . You can bet Top Golf didnt buy WGT only to see players complain or leave .What an absolute waste of an update as usual .Everything that players dont want and very little of what is actually needed .

I've added a step to my shot routine. I load the calculator in the middle of the screen after I hit .. don't see where the ball lands but the flash gets blocked at least.

Can we get the moron who okay-ed this water-boarded at the Sunday picnic, I'll bring pizza!

Just one concern with it, With the sudden shockwave of light like that, would it be dangerous for people who suffer from epileptic fits.  Can it be turned off.  Just wondering.

That and the bright light hurting the eyes of people that are ultra sensitive ti bright lights. When i first saw it when I landed on the fairway was a new award of some kind because that is sort of how the awards pop up on screen.

And No I find no way to turn it off.

That too I suppose.   I think it might be a good idea to have an on/off switch for that.

The usual whiny players... In the GAME SETTING there is a choice: FLASH QUALITY. just set it on low and the light won't disturb you anymore! lol

Wrong. I always use the low flash setting and the  exploding graphics are still way too bright.

"The usual whiny players"  Good on ya Tamsach

Setting the flash settings to low also affects the graphics of the game and makes it look terrible.

....and for elderly like me over 60 and many more  that play this game..it's a must to have a turn off option as suggested

Yes, I agree. I'm in my late 50's and it does affect my eyes.

I didn't mind it at first, but seeing those flashes over a few games does get a bit much. Just a simple on/off switch will keep everybody happy.

That'll be me, too, Scott. If I hadn't entered a few RG's already, I wouldn't even play tonight. I just did a one hole for CDP'd and that new graphics thing is over-the-top. Hope they'll add an option to turn it off.

On the bright side, maybe now I'll get some things done around the house ;-)

I don't understand this.  It's like calling AT&T and complaining about the update to your DirecTV receiver.  The parent company doesn't care.  They already gave you the proverbial middle finger when they redirected you back to WGT the first time.

Both companies measure satisfaction by the bottom line, not by the thoughts of their individual consumers, as much as it sucks to hear that.

This is like going over your boss' head to your boss' boss.  It doesn't do much to endear yourself to either party, and in the end all you get is a scolding from them both.

PLEASE turn off these new flashing notices. I find them to be very distracting, annoying and unpleasant for my eyes.

It is circumstances like this that make me feel disrespected as a user of this site. One of the most common themes that I see in these forums is a request that the management at wgt fix the problems that currently exist with this game and STOP giving us new features that we haven't asked for and don't need.

Here is an example. Instead of devoting time to fixing problems like timeouts and disconnects in multi-player games (or at least letting the users know what is being done to try and fix these problems) wgt gives us an unwanted new feature. It's like saying, "We want your input and we are listening" on one hand and on the other hand completely ignoring what we are saying.

    +1

What a waste of time and resources to make annoying additions repeatedly.
