Paul, as you probably know I played Steve(Stevietwotimes). This is what he wrote and it's not just this black & white.
pokerbike (Lin) won 3 up..
great fella and some very tidy play, all the best the rest m8...
thx steve.
I was 3 up going into 13. Then on my 2nd shot, my shot clock expired, for the 2nd time! Of course I was DQ'd. We had numerous conversations about the situation. Steve DID NOT except my DQ. This shows what a great sportsman he was and is. We tried to go back and get to the 13th hole and start again. But, due to the WGT not cooperating, we just couldn't get it done. Again we exchanged some messages and I was trying to tell him the rules are what the rules are. I was okay with being DQ'd. I BROKE THE RULES! And again he insisted I would have won fair and square .He said that I was 3 up and he still had to concede #15. Meaning I was actually 4 up with 6 holes to play with that the likelihood of him winning was slim. But he could have beat me. So Steve just conceded the match to me.
I asked Steve if we should have explained the situation to you and let you make the call, but being the good sport he is, he insisted that I would have won. Steve doesn't know I'm posting all this. So Paul in good conscience I just can't accept Steve conceding the match to me. Two reasons. The first and should be the only reason, I was DQ'd for breaking the rules!! As far as I'm concerned, the only reason!! The other reason and this really shouldn't even play into this scenario, my wife and I are going on vacation tomorrow. We fly out tomorrow morning. I won't be back until 5/24. I mean I'll have my computer with me, but with the time zone differences, it will be pretty much impossible for me to play another round by the 29th.
With everything said, I don't think that Vaibhav5viv should get a free pass to the next round. I believe it only fair and right that Steve play the next round.
If I wrote anything you don't understand, I don't write very well.....lol, send me a message or post something. I'll be monitoring all day. I'm sorry I caused this problem. It looked like the tourney was running nice and smooth. I look forward to playing any other tournaments you run Paul, if you'll have me.
Sincerely, Lin(Pokerbike)
