It appears WGT has taken the link away from our number of forum posts.

This surely freed-up a ton of resources across the web-site. Imagine the data load that existed with thousands of search-able posts just hogging-up resources.

I've noticed the sites pages load a bit faster after discovering this. Or is it just a coincidence? Either way, the links are gone.

    Very nice WGTicon.

I see my posts track back to December 25th to date. That's roughly two month's of posts saved, which is good for saving precious web site resources.

    Well done WGT.  : )

Yes. you used to be able to click on the # of posts and it would bring up every post you ever created or replied to.  On the last update, when everyone lost their blogs (which have now been restored) they also reduced the amount of activity tracking to roughly 2 months. In doing that, they eliminated the post referencing ability from below your name.

Another place that could save alot of memory is on the home page.  When the number of friends grow, so does the Friends Activity list.  A friend of mine, who has @ 100 friends said his list is over 700 pages long. Mines 151 pages and I only have 24 friends.  Most of this info is worthless. Unless you're that interested in seeing who your friends are making friends with. Long drives and such yeah maybe.  Not something that cant be found on their profiles. I guess it's a good quick reference, but could be shortened to maybe 3 days to a week at most.

Sorry for the ramble, got  thoughts  but cant seem to...oops...there i go again.

    Happy Golfing

    Dang

Not completely useless.  You could always ask bighed how he likes his Rapture Hybrid that he bought himself for Christmas.  LOL

Knock the list down to a week and you still have 400 pages of useless crap.

I occaisionally look back on my personal activity list and  wish it still went back to the beginning.  Oh well.

    Happy Golfing
