I just finished the best new game out there.

                         ICON'S INSANITY.

If you missed it you woulda missed more than you'd want to and wonder why you'd ever play that game.

I'm gonna go get the rocks that lack logos and look for Sasquatch since I ain't buyin' in to "Easter" hunts. I can't snap screen shots............

Actually I'm gonna do the Easter thing too.

                                         ~?~

I tried out Winning Putts just the once. It is more like an arcade game than this game, definitely a backward step.

At present there is no golf game that comes anywhere near to WGT, for all its faults we may as well learn to live with it and enjoy ourselves

Try for the Easter wabbit, just save a replay Dave and I'll sort you out with a screenshot from that.

^^^^ And, like any monopoly, wgt will invest money and time to effect repairs only when viable competition forces them to. For all the complaints, they know players have no where else to go.

To FatDan's point...on its face, your point is valid, but there is not being able to fix something, and doing so "cost effectively"...again, there is no real pressure for WGT to spend the $$ and man hours needed to address these complex problems.

As far as just leaving the site, many threaten to do so, very few actually do.

Many who use the forums threaten to do so anyway, but they are just a fraction of the overall number that use the forums and the people that use the forums are just a tiny fraction of the number that play WGT on a regular basis it seems. So I suspect that the ones that make a bunch of noise about leaving are statistically negligible even if they follow through with their threat which, as you point out, few do.

TWO, PP and now Winning Putts are indeed like arcade games as Fencer says. I have never played any online or installable golf game that is even remotely close to the experience of WGT and its simulation of the real game, and after all these years of playing it I doubt I'll ever find any other golf game as satisfying, ongoing performance frustrations notwithstanding.
