Ball durability

    If I somehow spend thought toward our ball choices, it is singularly about the ball performance with my play. Nothing else.

    Thoughts away from this seem to introduce thoughts that have nothing in common with quality of play. 

    When virtual balls cost more than RL balls then Virtual Balls Matter.  At least in RL a ball lasts until you no longer desire to search Out of Bounds, scoop from the water's edge, or head into the woods to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on one (plus on the other ones you find that others hit astray.  

    Maybe the next virtual tools sold in the WGT Pro Shop should look like these...

    Once in your virtual bag you could recover the mishits caused by spotty meters, VEM, or the affects of the alcohol some of us partake in during play.

    If you're going to have a golf simulator then let's have it emulate "true play" as much as possible.

    Fair is fair after all.

    I have read many people taking this position.  While losing balls is frustrating, under the "fair is fair after all" concept, WGT should be charging green fees, like your local course does IRL.  After all if "Fair is fair after all", then it should to apply to every part of the game.

    The best analogy I have heard is to think of the cost of balls as a substitute for green fees.  Sometimes being careful what you wish for is more important than other times.

    RE: The new WGT "Ball Effects ... you can get 500 hits for $9.00. 

    If you have a 2.5 durability ball, which gives 120 hits, is the 500 added to that number?

    You get the special vapour effect 500 times, at a price of 1.8 credits per shot. Ball durability ain't affected!
