Hole 1, I miss an idiotic 2ft putt since I'm so used to playing with a 15ft putter. 1UP GM.
Hole 2, same problem. Another bogey while GM has par. 2UP GM.
Hole 3, I have a series of unfortunate events. A sandy drive followed by a mulchy catastrophe followed by a chipping horror show. While GM misses his birdie by a whisker. 3UP GM.
Hole 4, after two identical shots we find ourselves in the bunker 15 yards out. Good scrambles for par. 3UP GM.
Hole 5, I hit my approach 35ft long but still on the green while GM has the 30ft TERROR PUTT*, which he amazingly knocks in!!!! 4UP GM.
Hole 6, We hit two identical shots to 6 yard severely-breaking chips. GM knocks it to a safe par distance while I hit it 5ft past the hole. I then miss that putt 5ft past the hole! I give in and decide on a lil' wedge practice for my next game, which results in a 1ft double bogey putt. GM knocks his in for the game. 5&3 GM.
One of the worst games I've played in a while, but I'll take nothing away from GM. His overall score for that had it been stroke play was -1! The whole game was high-spirited and I hope you have the best of tournaments GM! Meanwhile, I will be lucky to get out of the group stage. Good luck!
*The TERROR PUTT is the severely-breaking downhill putt left when you hit your approach on the huge mound. The normal result from this putt is a bogey or a double bogey.
