Does anyone know if the course will be added to WGT to play for fun or for a tournament? It's a very nice course. I live 10 minutes away from it and am excited for PGA Championship to be there.

I seriously doubt it. The only new course mentioned by WGT is  Erin Hills site of the 2017 U.S. Open.

Supposedly they had a deal with the PGA of America which runs the PGA tournament but after 2014 when we got Vallhalla CTTH nothing happened in  2015 even after WGT had announced a PGA  event for last summer. A month long tourney that never happened. So I guess the WGT/PGA of America partnership ended after only the 1 year.

That is an understated, humble description. It is on any short list of great classics. I wish we had it.

Yes , WGT media had announced the launch of Whistling Straits in a CTTH format. It appears they never photographed the course, or if they did, they decided not to release it (yet) ...

In a way not surprising though ... WGT released Oakmont on here in 2010, a full six years before it appeared again as a U.S. Open venue, Pebble Beach a full six years after it last appeared, and the announced 3rd set of pins on Oakmont have not appeared yet ...

The release of second set pin locations is never within a certain time frame ... we're still waiting on more pin locations for Royal St. George's, Olympic, Pinehurst, and Chambers Bay, and I'd bet my bottom dollar there's a third set of pins for St. Andrews that can be released ...

Also, no second set of pins for Cabo or Whistler ... changing priorities it appears ...
