Going from TM To Legend....A New World

  I just went from TM to legend and I must say it is a big difference, but so far I am loving the new challenge. One note though, Kiawah has now become a much harder challenge.

  Welcome to the big house mate.

  I made Legend about a week ago and it's actually ok.

  Hi SgtBilko 

  I have just been promoted to TM from Master and I was on an average score of 63

  When I played my first game asTM which was the back 9 at St Andrews I shot 32 (-4)

  and I could not believe my average score shot up 1 full point to 64.

  As you have just left the TM tier can you explain how the scoring works.

  If I had scored that on the MAster Tier they would have taken 0.25 to 0.50 off my average score. For example I would now be 62.5.

  congrats sgt bilko im at 61.06 and a Tm  cant seem to get to legend but trying

  Way to go Bilko, congratulations. Like the other posters mentioned, it isn't that bad, and competitive scoring can still be achieved.

  Blueeyes, one or two more good rounds and you'll be in there too.

  It happened to me also when I had moved up to master on feb 8th, but its due to the new average coming from the new tier level.   Double your 9 hole score of 32 and it gives you an 18 hole score of 64.   Avg of you games as TM is 64......

  In my case, I played Oakmont right after the move up to Master and my avg went from 66'ish up to 75 now that i have some rounds posted its slooowly moving back downward.
