Well, my go to course when I want to play a good round is BPB but I'm not sure it's my most loved one.  I think for that there needs to be a bit more challenge and a par 5 hole with a good eagle chance.

I really like Cabo even though I rarely play it.  Shame it's a cartoon course and not a proper WGT one.

I still think I'd call it my most loved course though.   RSG would be a close second.

At one time in a wgt land far, far away, Oakmont would have been on my 'avoid' list. Maybe it's the masochist inside of me but it's probably the one I love enjoy  take most satisfaction from when putting together a decent round.

Opening hole has always been a challenge for myself as I tend to roll out to about 3/4 yards left of pin on most approaches - except when I finish on the fringe even further away.

#9 can be a round killer too.

Various courses hold their appeal at various times for me; Pebble, especially the back 9 is another I'm enjoying playing at the moment.

Chambers Bay can be fun too - though I tend to go the unorthodox routes to most pins using the surrounding hills to bounce off of.

Re MM's choices; sorry, RSG is the Moon surface on Earth for me - detest it big time.

STA is "home" - draped with memories of a few visits (walked but did not play the Old Course, played New and Jubilee and the Himalayas).

RSG is close second - another genuine Links course to my liking, in reach for me, but I'm not sure if I will ever make it there.

Got to combine some trees and difference in elevation to be challenging. So, I choose:

    - The Olympic Club, Lake course

    - Congressional, Blue course

Currently, my favorites courses would be:

    1. Pebble Beach

    2. RSG

    3. Bethpage

I might put Oakmont in there but have only played it a couple of times. On the iPad, it's only available under the tournaments. I really have a strong preference for just playing 9 holes at a time. And I really like to play some practice rounds on a course before playing any ranked rounds on it.

Even so, I did manage a 64 on Oakmont the second time I played a full round. I felt good about that. I even got an eagle in that round.

Love them all and hate them all depending on how I am playing at the time. My fav I guess would have to be Congressional.

For me it's congressional, it just has everything to challenge you , bendy putts , water that plays with your mind.

It has uphill shots that need management knowing you need to hit short / right /left

    to get a good putt.

For me this is a beauty .
