OK, we did the most hated course, which one do you love ?

Without a doubt it is THE Old Course...a chance to play it brought me to this site...and I still love it.

This has been my experience as well. :)

Brought me here too, and as I have had the honour and privilege to have played the Old Course several times, I sort of feel the same way.

But in real golf, just teeing off made hairs stand up on my neck, on here I like it as some screen shots invoke memories of the times I played it, and I have the same feelings for Kiawah for the same reason.

To be honest, I love them all, and appreciate all of them in their unique ways.

    Thanks to WGT!

RSG more because it was my backyard growing up, and fond memories of the area generally.

Like Alan said though I also appreciate them all.  I will never play some of the American courses, and appreciate the different essence of how they play IRL being captured so well.

Without a doubt this is probably my favourite course on here. I was lucky enough to play 2 Pro-Ams there when I was playing good golf, many moons ago.

It can be a challenge on here especially when heavy winds are set. Links golf at it's best !! I learnt my golf on a links course in North Devon ..... Saunton GC and that course was areal challenge whatever the conditions

    Happy Days !!!!!!!!!!

    Ouch. Tough one.

Congo with the hard pins is great fun, even though it makes it difficult to score well. It's also a pretty course.

Pebble is a Jekyll Hyde experience - front to back.

Oakmont suffers from low res photos. If they were to go back to it for better pics, It would be striking, especially if they did it in the fall again.

Merion cracks me up. If I were to play nothing but it, I'd very soon have more birds than parrs. Seems every hole is either bird or bogey.

Ok. Enough rambling. Decision time. Just because it's fun and not overly hard in unevens, I'd go with BPB.

Oh. Speaking of unevens, if anyone ever finds a black lie at Chambers, I'd love to see a screenie. :^)

Chambers and Congressional. Chambers is so fun to play.

I liked RSG but since the recent tier up, it's brutal with the wind.

St. Andrews and Chambers Bay. I also love Oakmont. Though I've yet to unlock that one.  But it's my "hometown course" so I'm a bit biased

Another vote for St. Andrews. It is so famous and distinctive that it almost feels like home when I play it, and no other course looks like it.

Every course has its pleasures though, be it full or CTTH. And each has the power to tease some filthy new profanity from me too at times :)

I played a Match Play the day at Olympic with a guy who said he lived right by Olympic Club irl. Said it was a hard course and but he's shot 90s there before. Said he preferred to play Harding Park

The seductive mistress Merion will always be my favorite. Really have to pay attention to course management and have a solid strategy for each hole. Even then like the siren she is you just can't help but be aggressive and then sure enough pay the penalty. I just know I'm going to make a 1 on that 10th hole one day, just can't help myself from having a go at the green and walking off with 5,6 or more...
