  That was definitely a hyperbole.    I think the current tiers system is just fine. And congratulations on having entered the Pro tier today!

      You would have been upgraded sooner I am sure but you mostly played closest to the pin which does not count towards your average. Your average is what moves you up tiers.

  Ah, thanks... Yes I did that for a while!!

  Tonight I was merrily going along to my best score yet and thinking I've just got the hang of this, and just as I went to hit my shot on 8th Par 3 @ Bethpage, the cat jumped on my keyboard: I took a nine and it packed up on me saying I couldn't take anymore shots!!! I went all to pot after that.

  Grrr... cat!!!!
