Those greens always roll off. Most difficult stroke course here, yet it's rated "moderate" when you go to choose a game. Tough to make par in 18, but pulled it off last night and got the gold course award.
Gold Pinehurst Pulverizer
Best total score on Pinehurst: 70
Had a hard time though. To get gold you'd need 72, so +2, that's better than needing E par. Before last night, best I had was 73, silver.
Played a few rounds and too much bogeying, so would just go for the middle of the green, then it wouldn't roll off. The greens are faster than other courses, so shoot less than normal. It's just going to roll off on the other side if you shoot what it says.
Later had steady pars but couldn't get birdies for lots of holes. Just can't get near the hole when playing it safe. Not too much bogeying, so would keep going but by the end, always short and over 72, +4 all the time. Check out these games I played last night in a row.

Worst course in this game. After that, I go to improve another silver award, to try and get gold for Pebble beach. That one's rated "difficult" before you choose a game. Easy compared to Pinehurst. After that it was a joke with flat surfaces, so did allright. Think I had 7 birdies in the 18. lol. Lotsa bogeys though and got -4:
