How true are these last 2 comments, well said.

This thread has got a little nasty hasn't it..... The Callaways are great balls if you now how to use them...lol. When I was a TM, I really struggled with them. I changed back to me old favorites.. GI-SD's and the lower scores started to happen again... Promoted to Legend and started to use the Callaways again and was hit and miss, so back to the GI-Sd's and off the tee, I have no probs.. If you have the firepower off the blacks you can use just about any ball (within reason).

The best part of my game is my putting... I'm pretty deadly on the greens.. deadly enough to be slightly disappointed of missing a 15-20putt now, well that's a bit big-headed but ya get me line of thought.

I used to say that often too but had a change of mind and stepped up to the plate to play off the back tees and am enjoying the new challenge.

So Johniewino now admits that he knows that its harder to play under Legend conditions, And any dufus knows you dont need callaways for short wedges into slower greens, but they might come in handy on a 200yd approach to tournament speed greens, which only the Legend tier has to deal with in every round on any course!

It's great now I've reached the Legend Tier BUT here's the rub. I'm gonna have to put many more hours in and hit many more 100's of rounds to learn all the greens that much better if I'm ever going to hit a really low score like some of the Legends who have 1000 rounds under their belt.....that's where the experience counts.

Some of the Legends I've played against and with in Alt shots can play these courses blind folded :) ......like Rusty & Restorethis.....and could give you a great game using only basic clubs and unlimited balls while you were armed to the teeth with the best kit of WGT.

Callaways are good if you can use them....a total hinderence if you can't.

Bingo... i'm exactly as shite as i was BC (before callaways)... only thing that is ruining wgt is the plagued meter imo

TBE at no time did I ever admit that its harder to play under legend conditions. What I said was "hopefully never to be one". I am not good enough at this game and nor will I be as I have more important things in life to do.

It just seems to me, that the legends that are doing all the bitching about the t/m tiers and lower, and they know who they are, are not the upper echelon of the legend tier. WGT put them in the legend tier before they were ready for it and now they whine as to how unfair it is. To those few thats doing it I say just deal with and suck it up.

So as far as I am concerned case closed.
