    CEverett12:

I feel bad for all the folks who lost their scores and I apologize .

On behalf of The Bushwackers Country Club ,  We thank you and wish you all the Luck !

Gr8 thing you and your club are doing but in reality the scores that were posted when it was single play were not actually lost, they just won't count in the new reset comp.

I clicked on Paul's profile after he mildly complained, and once I clicked on his first go it still showed up, just not the new tournament.  His 26 was leading and not for nothing, if I get lucky enough to have my score stay up close to the top I'd be more than happy to send anything I would win his way in some form or another.

His 2nd go was a more than respectable 28, and seeing we're not playing for much more than bragging rights, and the fun of the comp itself just posting a score on less than most of our default green speeds should be all that matters anyway.

Your hands were tied by the way WGT/TG set this up, and in no way should it take from the fine thing you and your club have done for the community. After all, without the community, there would be no WGT/TG.

Shoot low and keep the faith--- Peace --- Ed

Thank you everyone , It was a pleasure for our club to sponsor a WGT tournament , I bugged all the mods for weeks ( sorry guys )  They passed me around from one mod to the next , I was feeling kind of cheap LOL .  Seriously they were very helpful , and our members of course for donating the 10,000 credits ,   Thanks and Good Luck ...................

Thanks for organizing the event CE, but unfortunately I won't be participating. I shot what I thought was a really good score when it was a Single Play event and was in the top 20 I believe only to see WGT erased it all and created a new tournament with Unlimited Play. I simply cannot compete in Unlimited Play tournaments because I am not good enough to re-play until I hit -10 or -11 for the F9 at Pebble. The Single Play tournaments give me a chance because everyone is on equal ground and only has 1 chance, but I do understand why the Unlimited Play format exists.

    Cheers,

On behalf of The Bushwackers Country Club, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to WGT, for the privilege of sponsoring the Bushwacker Open Championship. Country club sponsored tournaments not being commonplace; there were a number of issues that needed to be worked through in order to make this tournament a reality. I would like to extend my appreciation to the moderators for their efforts and assistance in working through these details.

Also, thank you to all those who took part in the tournament; the tremendous level of involvement affirming the existence of a country club sponsored tournament. The competition was intense and congratulations to those that made it to the top of the leader board.

Lastly, I would like to personally offer a heartfelt thank you to my fellow Bushwackers for their incredible generosity, willingly stepping forward to donate their hard earned credits in sponsorship of the Bushwacker Open Championship. I can't thank you enough.

    Happy golfing everyone !
