  Yes  new pin would be great but I don't see us getting any new pins for RSG. Unless of course it's like the new pins on Kiawah Island.  I don't see them going all the way to England just to shoot new pins. It wouldn't be worth the cost. The one I don't understand is Olympic. I mean it's right in their backyard so the only cost would be shooting the pics and programming the new pins.

  I agree there is a cost involved to mapping out the pins. But if it's prohibitive, I'm wondering if they even need to do that? Can they not just relocate pins in a reasonable manner?

  I don't think most of us follow golf so closely, as to know where each pin is on a given course on a given day...and it's kind of irrelevant, given we just want a different target to shoot at.

  From what I remember...they said they had a 2nd set already photo'd on even the old tracks..( inc RSG )

  nevermind the 4 sets they SHOULD have taken on new tracks ? !!

  Must have learned from mistakes ???

  Olympic would probably be a completely different course if they put new pins. Some potentially diabolical spots like front pin on 3 or the Payneful pin on 18.Right now without the false front playing like how they're meant to, front pins are really accessible. The pins at CB are just about perfect tbh
