I was in the same boat.  Could no longer compete with players that had upgraded clubs (more distance and accuracy) or balls (more distance).

Remember, the goal of any business is to grow and make money.  WGT is no different.

If you're like me and you eat a 6 or 7 buck lunch at least twice per week. You might consider buying a 20 dollar "Subway Card" and skip lunch for a few days and convert it into 2K credits and if you did this for 2 weeks. 4K credits will buy you any set of clubs you want. And on those days you're not eating lunch you can play Topgolf and be competitive in hitting the targets and win some extra coins if you win a round or 2.

    Hi RT,

When you move up in tier, your average resets. Usually will take playing a few ranked rounds to stop it from jumping as much.

Every tier has a minimum number of ranked rounds required before becoming saturated. When you reach the saturated point you average can only go down no matter how bad the round. Until saturation your average is true based on the round played at the current tier.

Unfortunately, as you tier up and the holes became longer, the only way to stay competitive is to invest in those clubs which have more reach on them.

I made Legend quite early(around L70) and was all over the place until I'd leveled up enough to get the clubs that I needed to keep up with others at the same tier.

Just my 2 cents worth: I sort of felt like you in the beginning.. I am an old retired guy and was enjoying playing this game. But realized I was spending way too much on a retired budget. And I needed the money for other necessities. Then I woke up, I realized that in the morning while drinking coffee, I could earn credits over ham/eggs and milk. I take about 30 - 40 minutes every morning enjoy breakfast and earn anywhere from 200 to 1000 credits by completing surveys or watching videos each day.. The Tri-dent videos are the best. Retired life is good... So in short if you have 30 minutes a day you can at least earn enough credits to buy balls.

No, you won't go back to Tour Pro, you will gain experience and move up another tier and go through the same frustrations. Also might help to get off the mobile device and log in through the internet, play is 4 times better. There are glitches, just remember to keep your flash player and cache clean.

     Chart your clubs and practice.

    That's it for 2 cents

Yes, I swear, I have completed 2-3 surveys in a day, plus watch all their videos. Most of the time the videos will give you 4 credits each, while drinking coffee and stalking facebook I can earn between 60 to 100 alone. Not all days are a 1000 credit day but at least one a week.. If I was to average I would guess somewhere between 400 - 550 a day.. Today I have earned 254 credits, but I had to mow yard and do laundry too so I haven't had much of a chance to earn credits.. And it is not my everyday goal to earn credits, but it can be done. I do try to enjoy my retirement, my dogs, and social life. This pays for my golf balls.
