Come on WGT! I have a suggestion, I know it will probably fall to deaf ears but I hope some one will listen. If not I just wasted 2 minutes of my life writing this.

All you see in the WGT forums about the clashes is that the system is broken. Back a while WGT stated that they were going to rework the system and that got some of our hopes up that something would be done, then WGT pulled the rug out from under feet and came out and said that they were just rewording the clash.

I would like to see WGT do something like they did when they let some of the clubs remake some of the Best Of Courses. Pick some members of the community to help rework the rules so that it is fair to everyone. But to make it fair to everyone there will need to be equal representation from all club sizes. I think there would be several people willing to work together and come up with a solution.

I will end my rant with this thought! In competition the team that plays the best and shoots the best score wins, but not in a WGT Clash, it is who ever has the most players and the most cash!  I think there is a way to do this so it is based more on skill then money and quantity!

Your so right firetrucky , Not only can it be fixed but it can be much better and make more money !  Why they don't want to improve it is beyond me ?

Maybe the reason they don't improve the clash is because they will be admitting the set up is so broken and unfair etc, etc, and if they improve it, it will an admission that they got it wrong !

As WGT has proved so many times, money is the bottom line, not us who play the game here

    C'mon man... seriously? T. Rex?

Could be the silliest tee marker ever created. Even a banana would have made more sense.

How about when they do the Clash  they have 5 levels of play. 1- 1- 50 members 2-51-100  3 - 101-150- 4-151-200- 5 - 201=250 ??? At  least this way it would be more fun. Not any fun if you have 10 members and you go up against the Georgian.  Or let the Country Clubs opt out of the Clash. I  use to like the Clash but now I could care less .

It's easy for a CC to not take part in clashes...just don't play in them.

Not so easy IMHO because one individual member can sign in to each Clash, and you won't be able to tell who he was if only one other member follows suite.

You can only hope to stay outside 25th position and NOT win the optional T-Rex tee markers!

There is so much potential to make the clashes a successful addition to the game but i can't see that happening anytime soon, too many people playing it how it is, which is easy revenue for WGT, escapes me why people bother with it but to each his own

I am not a complainer as I realize that no one at WGT cares, but I just wanted to give other members a heads up that I just completed a clash on Pebble and received 0 points for the entire Clash using a Superpass, after scoring 1 Eagle, 2 Birdies,4 Pars and 2 Double Bogeys. Don't worry they managed to reduce the hits away from my balls though. Happy hitting everyone.
