    LOLServer Pick'em British Open Edition

    ROYAL ST GEORGE'S

    Starting & ending exactly at the same time as The Open Championship

    Thank you for LOLServer for setting this tournament up. He picked the conditions, so be angry at him not WGT :)

    Tournament conditions:

    • 18 holes at RSG
    • Unlimited
    • Uneven Lies
    • Using Pro tees
    • With high winds 
    • 16 stimp green speed

    Prizes for:

    • winner 
    • runner up 
    • 8 random players of the best 250 

    In WGT behalf I hope all of you participate in this fun but challenging tournament.....& remember ALL IS ONLY FOR FUN : )))

    Winners will be posted in this thread at the end of The Open. Winners will receive their sleeves approximately 1 week after the end of The Open.

    LOLServer Pick'em British Open Edition Leaderboard day 2

    The lead is still at 57 but some new faces are showing up although only 3 players under 60.

    I think the 16 stimp speed is awesome...not too fast to make you crazy but still very challenging. After seeing the real "The Open" for the last two days. I see those guys balls being eaten by the bunkers around the greens...same here, not bunkers but difficult to keep it close to the flag due to the green speed.

    I still hope to see some top WGT uneven players participating soon : )))

    Mr Bigknight still in the lead at 57, some new known players under 60 and several new others just above 60.

    About 7 hours to go, I hope you give a try (or a couple). Remember that Winner, Runner Up and 8 random players out of the best 250 will earn sleeves.

    Not bunkers? I've found two of them during my best round (the second one, I've stopped the first one after hole #10):

    - TS on #13 for an awful 45° orange lie => par

    - Second shot on #14 (facewind) for a yellow downhill lie => incredible recovery but I've missed the 4y putt for birdie.

    Really tough despite the pro tee, the wind has a very big influence. Thank you for the tournament; I like when it's tough :)

    In behalf of WGT I announce the winner and the runner up of the LOLserver Pick'em British Open Edition 

     

     

    Big congratulations guys, I hope you enjoyed the tough but fun conditions with those icy greens...lol. Winner will receive 3 sleeves and Runner up will receive 2 sleeves. Please winners post your ball preference here as soon as possible.

    I will announce the 8 random winners soon, post them here and contact them directly...as soon as my daughter choose them from my screen (pointing out with her little finger from the leaderboard...lmao)

    Thanks everyone for participating in this fun tournament : )))) remember that the tournament will be closed at any time pretty soon. I hope you do not get booted in the middle of your game : )))

    My little daughter has pointed out the 8 random winners, all random winners will receive one sleeve : )))
