    Monday, March 28th

    Good (italian) afternoon to everybody. And thank you very much again for all your support to the tournament.

    The wait is over. Now it's time to heat up irons and putters, look up the caddie book and have some good time.

    ROUND ROBIN COURSE CONDITIONS

    • Bethpage Front 9 [Champion/Hardest Tees - Moderate Wind - Fast Greens - Medium Pins];
    • Kiawah Back 9 [Gold/Hard Tees - High Wind - Standard Greens];
    • St. Andrews Back 9 [Champion/Hardest Tees - Low Wind - Very Fast Greens - Hard Pins].

    There is no order in round robin matches, so feel free to play according to players availability.

    The Fixtures Board have been updated. In the next post, I'll publish group-by-group fixture list.

    ROUND ROBIN DEADLINE

    Friday, April 8th, before 8 AM (GMT).

    Due to the large number of matches to be completed in a very short space of time, It's very important that all the players are committed to complete their matches as soon as they can.

    Note that the deadline above are purely an estimate of when the matches should be finished by.

    Just a little note: notify me or Simone of any forced unavailability to play for a long time. We wait the whole round to be completed, but we could ask for a feedback in some situations (e.g., no response by a player involved in non disputed match), and take an unwilling walk over decision by the rulers.

    SCORECARD AND MATCH RESULT

    At the end of each match:

    • Post your match scorecard. It's usually up to the winner player to do that. But it could be made by the contestant as well. Or send the scorecard directly to my e-mail: lordkino@gmail.com

    To know how to post a scorecard: How to post your scorecard thread, in Community Help.

    Be careful: do not sign off until someone gets a screenshot of both players. Your score drops off the screen once you drop out of the game.

    You must do both of the above to capture your score. Doing so, me and Simone will have a clear view about the tournament progress.

    Group C's off and running with a cracker......

    JB takes it 1up after the first extra hole. Tater and I were neck and neck all the way with only one hole being taken by either player throughout the nine. Plenty of close shots and solid putting on display particularly by Tater from the 6-10ft range. A long approach shot from Tater left a 11ft putt down the slope on the first extra and with it sliding by, my punch to 4ft closed out the match. Thanks Tater - really nice matchup.

    Scorecard for my 1st group match with old friend Kurtsbuford -

    It was a much closer game than the score indicated.  Kurt was a little below his best today plus he didn't have much luck either but he hung in there well and made some very good long putts that just missed by inches.  My putter did the job for me but it was a near thing as I kept on thinking that we were playing with tournament green speed !

    Thanks to Kurt for a fun game and it was great as always to catch up with him. Best of luck also for the remaining matches, just make sure you finish all the games before your trip buddy, as you don't want to play after a few rounds of Margaritas ! lol ! :-))
