Legend Tier is Impossible / Terrible / Game Ender

WHY IS LEGEND TIER SO HARD?

Makes the game too hard and not fun anymore.

I've lost all interest in playing multiple games in one day. My scores are always over PAR since upgrading to LEGEND TIER. All my game settings are locked at CHAMPION level. Which forces every player who enters any of my designed games to play at CHAMPION level too. My avg scores was @ 40's and now my score is 75.

Legend tier means re-learning the game and it will take a while but is well worth the effort.

One tip I can give you; get rid of the hybrid it's totally useless, get yourself a 3rd wedge as a priority.

Don't know why you are locked into champion settings, ask customer services to look into it.

    Good luck.

Not yet they aren't. The tees are the same but the green speed's are even faster than what you see now. You went up a level on the speeds and moved farther back off the tee. No more driver/wedge golf, now you have to think about it and learn your longer irons, like the 3, 4 and 5. You definitely have decent enough equipment and if you take Paul's good advice about that 3rd wedge, you'll be fine in short order.

    Welcome to BigBoy golf.  :-)

As others have already said, legend tier is tough but rewarding. Keep at it. The game will get easier again. While I don't shoot any super low scores, good scores can be shot at the legend tier. In fact, I've even shot as low as a 31 on the back nine of Pebble Beach with the starter balls.

I'll admit that I can't do that consistently with starter balls. But my point is that good scores can be had. And with better balls, a person can shoot under par consistently as a legend. For me, that's good enough.

As someone above mentioned, it just takes a bit of time to relearn the game. Still, I think it's a worthwhile challenge and makes the game more fun and satisfying.

    Good luck!

l Made Legend a few months ago and like they say here you have to learn to play this game again,  its tough as you have new views of the Ts and the courses change in the way they play so its a case of practise and re learning all the courses again.

Good news is you will adjust stick at it

Sadly you play this GAME...yes game!, with the mentality put in the score (like the most of people here) of course the avg & all that $hit are part of the game & is sometimes an ''motivation'', but for me the important thing is just PLAY, have a momento to relax, I play from the Legend tee from long time, always with starter balls and is hard of course but also fun

About the tee's...wgt make that ''piramide'' of tiers just for sell new equipment & mostly balls, balls who provide unrealistic distances, perfect for drive from the parking :)

    Cheers & good luck

Yes it is, especially when players get tiered up when they are not ready.

As Led Zep says it is the way the business is designed with the hope players will upgrade equipment.

But a look at your equipment, and overall it is pretty good, but a few different meter speeds that may cause some issues. A hybrid is a waste IMO and you are better served having three good wedges.

Your issues are more about the short game, scrambling and putting needs to improve (again 3 wedges will aid this) and in all fairness, you should be bringing the distance to the pin down (again 3 wedges....)

My advice for anyone about to reach the tips, ditch your driver and use a 3W from the tee.

Above all, set yourself goals, not necessarily focusing on the score and have fun.
