Group 2
Precept (Carolina Sandhills) vs. Baldace (Bridgestone Golf)
1. I hit a poor approach leaving a huge curling birdie effort. Baldace hit his approach in a better spot to make birdie.
1 down
2. I stuck my 2nd about 10 feet short of the hole; Baldace’s 2nd found the greenside rough. He flopped his 3rd poorly leaving an 11 foot curler for bird, but he sank it. I sank my 10-foot bender for eagle to win the hole

9. I hammered it down the right-hand side, Baldace too just not as far. From 163, Baldace hit it to 11 feet, but in a weird spot. From 146, I hit it to 10-ft below the hole. Baldace hit his bender just past on the high side burning the edge; I didn’t hit mine well and lagged it close (from 10 ft).

16. Downwind, I laid well back to ensure I’d hit the fairway and wouldn’t have to worry about spin into the green. From 147, I hit it to 15-ft below the hole. From 97, Baldace hit it right at it and left it 6 feet below the hole. I crushed my 15-footer through the break and ran it 2 feet by on the high side. Baldace’s birdie effort lost speed and fell to the low side.
Dormie
