  BacardiandCoke & Kam beat Stuffix & Tiffer 1up

  

  It was a battle which swung both ways, with everybody contrbuting to a high class birdiefest, we got off to a fast start to go 2up thru 4, then Tiffer & Julien Birdied 6 out of the next 7 from the 5th-11th to lead 1up thru 11 we won 12th to bring it back to A/S then 3 birdies each made it a/s thru 16th we birdied 17th and tiffer missed jsut missed form around 15ft on the last

  Was a great game, really enjoyed it everybody played well, i think only 4,6,13&18 were the only holes birdie wasnt made on :-)

  Thanks to Chris and Julien and my partner Jessica for a fantastic game. Was really tight, and as Jessica said above was some real quality shots played out there.

  Congrats to both of you, you both played great, wonderful back 9. I'm just disappointed at myself for those 4 to 8 ft straight putts that I missed while I managed to make some big breakers, but that's how it is.

  Congratulations Monty and Jessica, you both played some excellent golf, particularly on the back 9. Both of you putted extremely well, especially when the pressure mounted. I wish you every success in the next round and I'm not embarrassed to say I'm absolutely gutted to have lost this game. It would have been a real pleasure and challenge to have pitted my skills with Julien against Priestess and Infinito.

  Congrats To Jessica  BicardiAndCoke & Monty Kam4122 on a great win against a very tough opponent. Jessica is a relatively new member to Electra and just turned Legend a week ago-but she's a "player" . They advance to the Quarter Finals where they will meet Priestess and Infinito3010.

  Congratulations also to Stuffix & Tiffer67 for a great match that went to the wire.

  First congrats to Jessica and Monty sounds like it was quite a game :) gl to you both in the next round.

  With only 1 game left to play in the first round, Tess looks like she and shade have locked up closest to the hole on the par 3 8th with an incredible 1.2 feet, and so far Julien and tiffer are closest to the hole on the 4th with 21 feet woo hoo, Mio picked some tough holes for this competition, good job Mio :)

  The biggest winning margin so far is: is a tie between Tess/Shade (4&3) and Buffy/misstery (4&3)

  One game to go, can they all hang on to their winning balls woo hoo :)

  Great game and a lot of fun with old friends Jayme & Marv and the match was actually a lot closer than the scorecard showed here as J & M had so many near misses.  My partner Woodsy was "the destroyer" out there today as he played super on the back 9 after having a lot of problems with the meter on the front 9.  

  We were lucky to be 2up early as J & M had an unusual slow start and some bad luck too ! But they then steadied themselves nicely and cut the deficit to 1 up and was cm from squaring things up on the 6th hole where Marv's tough putt from above left of the pin just shaved the hole !  On the CTTH 8th my tee shot just slid by the hole and stopped around 6ft from the hole, not quite good enough to beat Tess's great shot there for the prize, but we did win the hole to increase our lead back to 2 up.

  The back 9 started out with Woodsy's super approach shot to about 3 ft and J also had a good shot to about 6ft.  Again Marv was unlucky to just missed the putt to give us the hole ! On the par 5 next hole after I managed to put a 3w on to the green but left my partner with a pretty long putt for eagle.  After Jayme had made a good pitch to about 2ft for birdie we all watched in anticipation as Woodsy's putt traveled ever so slowly to the hole and just dropped in from the side door at the very last minute for a great eagle and another win !  At the next hole Woodsy "the destroyer" struck again when fired a cracking approach shot to about 3 ft for another birdie while Marv just missed his birdie chance to give us another win.  We then halved the next 2 holes to end the game at the par 3 14th hole.

  Thanks to Jayme & Marv for the game and it's great to catch up with you both after so long. Also Thanks to my partner Woodsy who played great today, well done mate.  Finally thanks to Briobrio for taking the time to help us organized our game as we had a lot of problems with finding a good time to meet up in the last 2 weeks.

  Btw Lisa, I still can not open the link for the match brackets ! Is there another way I could open it ? sorry about this but i can not figured out this problem !

  G'day,

  gr8 match between Marv / Jay and Vic / me :) Huge fun looks like Vic has done a gr8 summary of the game :)))))))) but I'm sure i'm not the "the destroyer" mate lmao you played gr8 :)). J and M didn't quite have the love with a few putts or the match could have easy gone the other way. 

  A VERY BIG TY GOES TO JAY AND MARV we had a few delays and tyvm for hanging in there for us guys  CHEERS :)))
