  Well we had a rough day today Paul and myself just couldn't seem to get the game going.....I enjoyed the tourney very much and good luck to Kurt and Anne moving forward. i wish them the best of luck the rest of the way...great people.

  I would like to thank the Electra club for their hospitality , all very nice people.

  Thanks to Brio and Lisa and everyonre who has worked so hard in puting this event together, it was an awesome event and i enjoyed it thoroughly.

  Lastly i would like to thank my partner.We had a pretty good go partner just never really found our game today.....been very nice getting to know you a bit and look forward to playing with you and the rest of your clubs fine people in the future.

  Very well played match-it was a matter of a couple of putts and things could have been different. It was a pleasure to have Cappiest in our Invitational and congrats to Kurt and Anne advancing to the Semis to face Tess & Shade.

  Thanks Cappy and Mona, Anne hit some very nice drives out there today which afforded us some good position on some holes, Cappy and Paul had some tough breaks early on with there putting but closed with 2 nice hole wins on 7 and 9, to keep things close.   Anne played very well again, shes very competitve with great sportsmanship too.

  It was a fabulous match, had alot of fun out there, I got off to a very nervy start, missing the creek by 3 ft with my first drive, and when they started to come back at us winning the 7th & 9th, I thought that they were going to steam roller us!!!

  Was great meeting paul and cappy, both players very good fun, and great sportsmen, and hope we can play some rounds in the future. Big thanks to kurt for hitting some amazing approaches for me to tap in, and holing some spectacular birds.

  I have too concur with Kurt, this has been a very enjoyable tournament, and a big ty to everyone who has put it all together.

  The last of the Quater Final matches is scheduled for Weds. It pits #1 seed Jafo12 & IronKing34 against #9 Lisa03 & oneputtdavid-the winner will face Pauls & Hacksaw5 at BPB 18holes.

  The other Semi-Final match features Kurtsbuford & misstery vs #2 seed PRIESTESS & Infinto3010.

  Well this is certainly heating up to a great finish, with guests IronKing and oneputdavid fighting for the last guaranteed 5k (to the guest) spot... Kurtsbuford is already talking smack to the team of PRIESTESS/Infinto3010 (are you that crazy Kurt) I'm afraid he has already signed his own death warrant lol and not even the amazing play of his partner misstery may save him... Pauls/Hacksaw5 is going to be the team to beat after they "Giant killed" the team of  Woodsy747/coolswing a favorite to make it to the finals....

  Congrats to guests semi-finalists  Infinto3010, misstery and Hacksaw5 that are already guaranteed 5k in credits... and with a 15,000 first prize to the guest, things should get hot.

  Who will claim the biggest CC first prize (that I know of) in the history of the WGT!

  Kurtsbuford is feeling his confidence grow after wins over Highly rated Brio & simovoice followed by a convincing win over PTgolf and cappiest.  He's predicting a victory over 2 power Legends Priestess & Infinito3010. He's even offering an "even odds " bet on it.

  They may play today----but he's already made a tee time at Oakmont for the Finals!!!!

  Yes, it looks like its going to be a very long day for Tessie and Shade, possible start time around 1pm today.    Heard that both of them just had there wedges regrooved for hitting from 40-50% 2nd cut lies out there, hope they realize how fast their 3rd shots from sand  will smooth out those grooves.   LOL.
