Damn... how in the hell do you run a business this way? You have a monthly tourney paying out winnings in credits... not a physical prize you have to handle and ship to someone... and you cant manage to get a winners account credited with credits 2 months after the tourney ends??? What the hell is wrong with you people at WGT? FFS... pay these people what you owe them. This is retarded.
It is the couple months before they changed to the credit payouts that people are waiting on slash. I received my credits for the march multiround, but am still waiting on a couple gift cards from before that. For some reason the february premium tournament winnings have already been applied to our career earnings which usually happens after the prizes are dealt with. Perhaps someone at WGT thought these prizes were already paid?
It just seems to me that somewhere in the WGT offices there is a person who at the end of each month would have the job of closing out & paying out for that months tourneys... since i assume they aren't automated like the ready go's must be. There aren't THAT MANY monthly events to payout on... so it makes it hard for me to understand how it isn't a more streamlined process...and why it would take so long to get it handled... but what do i know. lol.
Just so that you're aware, I won the March Legend Premium Open and was paid the credits last week so you're looking at about a 3 week turnaround from the end of the tournament. Not bad in my eyes.....
That is a fair turnaround i guess and good to hear you guys have received March payouts... but the guy who started the thread on April 1st had yet to receive his payout for the January tourney... that is what i was posting in reference to. Seems like quite a long time to wait for a tourney to pay out.
Sorry everyone, we did think that a bunch of tournaments were paid out but in fact they were not. We are addressing it now and making sure everyone will get what they have earned. This is actually the main reason we have set up less physical prize awards for tournaments. Fulfilling physical prizes and sending them has been very difficult. Sorry for the delays and thanks for your patience.
