Just finished a round at Pebble Beach with a - 7 on 9 holes played with 2 other players, eligible for next consecutive day bonus, and used a PASS,  and received 330 ( ish ) XP. Should have been over 1,300 XP. Looked around and saw after the round my next consecutive say was in 22 hr 30 min, and to my amazement,  I also noticed I was back to ONE consecutive day played! Impossible...

Look on my profile, and it shows the last round, the one mentioned, played on 11/12/2016, today is the 11th, my friends. Hence all the lost consecutive days and XP,

Please throw away your flux capacitor and fix my stuff, reply back.

    Thanks...

The new day started at 7 PM Eastern time and 4 PM Pacific time.  That is also 0000 time in England (GMT), the start of the new day for the world.  That's why the date shows 11/12/16.

On the Game Client page it shows how many XPs you will get for today, tomorrow and the next day.  it also shows how long until the next day starts.

You posted at 6:15 PST,  2 hr and 15 minutes after th new day started.  I would guess you started your round about 1 hour before that time.  You simply missed playing on 11/11/16.

I noticed you have been a member for over 3 years.  You never noticed before when the new day starts? Your last round was posted as being on 11/10/16.  It clearly shows no rounds played on 11/11/16.

Good luck getting WGT to fix your mistake.  Hopefully you will learn from your mistake and not miss another day that way.

I saved a hole in one shot on the same round mentioned, shot is clearly recorded as being made on 11/11/2016.. So tell me again just how in the hell I made and saved that shot on the 11th but teed off on the 12th?

The problem is with starting the round before the day changes and finishing it after the change. This no longer satisfies the CDP requirement.

You need to start the round AFTER the new day starts and it can't be multiplayer games. You used to be able to play right through the day change and get credit for having played the new day. That is no longer.  I have personally verified this. :-(

Because they are two different things.  Saved shots before reference your local time (date and time)  It works the same way when you create a tournament.  it references your local time for the ending time and date of each round.

The New Day starting is completely different, as it represents the start of the offical WGT day.  Based on GMT.  That has always been the accepted method, historically.  And scoring history is tied into the "official day".  Not the start of your local day.

If there wasn;t an official star to the new day, everyone would claim what you are.  We don't live on a flat Earth where it's the same time (and time zone) all over the world..  It's not Midnight everywhere on Earth at the same instant.

I notice that you didn't mention the time until the new day starts indicator.  That info has always been available for the two years + I have played the game.,  The change to the new XP system didn't create that.  You also didn't say what time you started your round.

I'm sorry you lost your CDP streak, but you aren;t the first and won't be the last.. WGT isn't going to correct this for you.  Have you contacted Customer Service?   If so, what was their reply?  Ranting in the forum isn't going to fix your mistake.

Good Luck in your quest for WGT to correct this percieved wrong.

Maybe the mobile has been different all this time. But that was never my experience. The game has always looked at when I finished the round and not when I started it for purposes of what day the round was played on.

For example, if the new day started at 7:00 PM (EST), and I started playing at 6:45 PM but finished at 7:05 PM, it would put the round on the new day.

So like the person above, as soon as a new day starts (or within a couple of hours), I quickly play some type of practice round (3-hole, 9-hole, or 18-hole). That takes care of it.

That is exactly what changed. That is no longer the case. WGT looks at the first stroke in anything involving strokes after the new day starts.

Contact customer service? Gee, why didn't I think of that? YES, I contacted customer service, by several different means and avenues. Is it my turn to ask a stupid question?

    Yes? Okay...

What was WGT's response, or did they even respond at all?

Take your time and don't rush to any hasty conclusions

I see you ranted about doing the obvious (some people overlook the obvious which is why I mentioned it in the first place) but you didn't actually say if they responded or not.

If they haven't by now they probably won't.  I don't want to insult you, so I think you can figure out where it's going to go from here.  You also probably know what your options are as far as dealing with it.
