I feel your pain, I'm starting to wish I hadnt wrote it in the first place lol.

But for those with the childish remarks, (not you Vito) KEEP EM COMING!! I could use some form of entertainment.

I've made the rulers, downloaded the First Impression and AlwaysOnTopMaker software and installed them.  All of that works fine... sort of.

    I have 2 problems though.

    1)  I used Paint Shop Pro to change the opacity.  However, when it is then opened up in First Impression the opacity is no longer there - the image is solid again.

    2)  I always play in full screen view.  As soon as I click on one of the meters it puts my game window back into window view which I don't want.

Seriously Doc, it's a great idea, and if I could get the above 2 things sorted (which I think will be unlikely for number 2) then I would definitely use it.

I would simply ignore any comments from those who think they are too good.  Is this your first account?  Very possibly not, seeing the scores you posted.  But then ask the person who first accused you how long he had been here before shooting the scores he did, how long he was here before he became a Legend (in name only), and what he did when he was accused of being a multi-accounter and no one wanted to know him.

    Mio,

#1 - I havent been able to figure out yet why it works on mine and doesnt work for some of you as far as the opacity goes. I will work on a fix for it and let you know soon.

#2 - I always play in windowed mode so i had not taken that into consideration, but I do have a simple solution for that problem, instead of playing in "fullscreen" mode, you can simply use the maximize window button in the top right of the game window. This will allow the window to be almost the same size so it will not screw with your meter timing and there is only about 5 pixel difference between the 2 modes. You would probably have to re-create the rulers in order for the pixel count on them to line up correctly but this is a quick fix for the problem. If however you would rather play in fullscreen mode, I can find a way to make it work properly, but I would probably have to find a different program other than First Impession.

If you guys give me a day I can come up with some alternate options for the opacity AND the fullscreen to work properly, I will re-post these options on the original posting when they are complete.

And as far as your question "is this your first account" In all honesty, yes. The simple fact of the matter is that I signed up, watched the demo thing you have to go through in order to play your first round and thought "well how am i suppose to know how far I'm hitting the ball without some sort of tick markers on the meter like every other golf game Ive played has". So before even attempting to play a round and start trying to get a feel for the proper meter for certain distances, I decided to try to see if there was some sort of program that aids you that someone else happened to create for the game (just so that I wouldnt have to go through the process of doing it myself, which i already knew how I just didnt want to have to if it was already done for me). So I came across WGTCaddy and downloaded the free version, saw that it was an outdated peice of crap and you had to pay for the version that would even help a little. I decided that it was a waste of time and since I didnt see anything else I would just simply create my own. Took me about 30 minutes to get the kinks out of it, and then began to play a round. My first few rounds were barely making par because I wasnt used to the wind and elevation allowances, but after taking a few notes on how the ball reacted when hit at what should have been the proper % on the meter and instead came up short or shot long, simply made the proper adjustments. When it comes down to it this is simply a game of numbers (and a little educated guessing for the wind).

I know I dont have to exdplain myself, but for those who were curious, there's your answer in black and white. Simple summary, I started off "cheating" and then found out later I in fact WASNT cheating because its completely permissable by WGT Terms.

I have feeling he may have been Legend at some point. Members 5 days in don`t have advance information on tournament greens for TM & Legend. When they have not seen or putted on them.

Good scoring after a week here.

There are two things in this game.

Playing hard core & making Legend doing it the hard way playing the game to your best of your ability & learning from every shot & putting good rounds back to back to back & being respected for being a good player.

Or making legend using any sort of advantage you can get , gimmicks , soft wear what every you call your thing. No one will respect a player for using game gimmicks to enhance there game play.

I read in one of the early posts in this  topic DOC you have created cheat devises for other games in the past if you are already looking at ways to beat the system/ improve your game play after 5-6 days after playing the game. What about in a months time when you hit a slump in the game stuck at a level or tier & looking at more ways of taking advantage of the system , what will be next ??

^^^^ Well said Sun, this joker is obviously a multi account  slime ball who has more experience than a few days on the game could possibly explain, trying to come off as the benevolent benefactor to the community, not sure of the motive, but it stinks!

Hey Doc, Looking forward to your next post on opacity. I've been looking through the net and on the paint.net forum and I still can't get it to work. In paint.net it looks transparent but when I save it as a .GIF file the opacity or transparency goes away. The stayontop program works and I do use the full screen, So no problem there.

Would you be able to post a picture of your bar?

    Thanks
