It seems that The OP's account has been removed, I knew there was something fishy about the guy.
Cancer needs to be removed as soon as possible...unfortunately , it would appear that stage 4 may have been reached before it was cut out.   Sad and unfortunate.

I have to disagree with some of you. Is that even fun to exactly know how far it goes! I would prefer the game to be a lot harder. Im pretty decent at this game and i play on a laptop strictly by feel and memory. Too many 56- 59's for my liking but thats just my opinion. Thanks and have fun all!

dont understand this thread and why it is needed, we all know that the avator makes 20 movements from 0 to full bkswing, iv have just been dividing the club by that to get the distance i need, ie 160 club divided by 20 = 8ft, therefor if i got say a 144ft approach shot with my 160 club i come bk 2 movements from top off bk swing, on avator 4 the distance allowing a bit 4 wind ect,, it is working 4 me at mo because it has reduced my approach shots from 20ft to 17 ft in my stats so im happy. Its just what works 4 you really i surpose.

If you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, the one that barks the loudest is the one you hit.

Crazy thread. I've seen these rulers and such in pictures posted to peoples computers in other threads and it's always made me laugh a little.

The OP compared these "tools" to the likes of having a caddy and some agreed with that. Everyone realizes that the caddy doesn't grab the players putter and move it back to a certain backswing position before the player putts for them.

The OP also stated somewhere that he had no idea how hard to hit the ball with the provided meter. The avatar backswing movement is what provides that information. And feel. FEEL. That's what WGT tried to create when they created this game. A golf game where FEEL is a huge part of it. That, to me, is what makes this the most realistic golf game I've ever played.

Playing this game the way WGT provided it is tough and takes a quite a few rounds to get somewhat good at it. Just like real golf.

I could be wrong here but I bet most of the people using these crutches are younger kids who want everything NOW and don't have the patience to learn so they find shortcuts or tools or cheats or whatever you want to call it.

To any newbies reading these threads out there making all these new meters I suggest learning the game the way WGT created it. I think you'll be a better player in the long run without having to rely on a crutch.

And to any of the long timers that play with these "tools" I have to ask you. What's going to happen to your game when WGT comes up with a new meter but the avatar club movements stay the same so it doesn't effect existing players?

Use the "tools" WGT gave you to play the game and you'll be a better player in the long run.

The OP has been removed from the site...yet again. The first day on this site he set up this program to help him cheat (imho) and the second day he gets a hole in one....lol

This is bizarre. I thought I was in a time warp and kept checking the dates on the posts. This is old stuff. I just read it from the start and can't believe the reaction to this guy. He didn't do a friggin thing wrong!! You can't cheat with this thing, it's a blasted transparent ruler for crying out loud. Now everybody's making like he's some multiple account cheater.

Who is he cheating and what is he cheating them out of? If you think you are being cheated by someone with this silly transparent ruler then maybe you have personal issues bordering on paranoia. FWIW, I have the original but I'm too lazy to set it up every time-I use a piece of masking tape on my laptop instead. I even look at it once in a while.

Why mess around with all these made up rulers and stick em ups with graduated lines for our meter which just will not cooperate. We all know the problem is a very finicky meter. You never know when its gonna jump stutter or stop, and throw off your shot like a bronc rider on a bucking horse

The solution Is quite simplw W_G_T must go to a dial type meter just like those used in other golf game and also Tiger Woods. I have never had this kind of trouble using these types of swing meters. Plus the round swing is more natural to the game.

What we should be doing here as players, is seeking out other venues with a better meter syatem for a more enjoyable game
